We’d been looking for the right dog for over a year. Queried them about a particular dog, asked if there were any issues, as due to medical and mental issues, required a specific type of dog. They portrayed it as laid back and without any problems. While they may not have known it was not laid back, but highly active, when later queried, they had been fully aware that it had anxiety issues, but chose not to tell us, for some reason.We had to return the dog a month later, as it simply was not going to be happy with the limitations posed by my medical problems and I found my ptsd aggravated by its frequent displays of anxiety.They did not return the money paid for the dog and we’re also out of pocket on other things, such as pet insurance and the other costs.We’ve both been left severely depressed by the entire episode, having bonded with the dog only to realise it was not suitable.Had they been upfront about the anxiety issues, we’d have never brought it home.I’m also concerned that a was waiver apparently having some mention of that anxiety issue, had been presented to my aunt as run of the mill bureaucratic paperwork, no mention of a waiver, or it’s contents being made.

Looking at a rescue dog but they make it very hard to obtain an animal. No information of ruffly a price. Plus I do not have internet so I have absolutely no hope. Do not make it very helpful and they are not friendly.

Absolutely horrible experience. My partner and I drove a total of 8 hours to get the dog of our dreams for it to turn into a nightmare. These 'workers' told us our deaf dog was loveable, trained and loves to play for him to viciously attack everyone he saw and for my partner and I to have multiple bruises, scratches and puncture wounds. When I called not even a week into having him to discuss options, they then mentioned he showed some signs of aggression and recommend RSCPA Burwood behaviourists. That was an awful experience in itself. We ended up having to return the dog for our own safety and his welbeing to then get screwed around by Warnambool RSPCA and Burwood RSPCA on a refund. Not only were we now dogless, but at least $400 short too. To finally get the money back we had to seek legal options which then resulted in getting our money back straight after. No apology from a manager, no compensation, nothing. We are now telling everyone looking for a pet to not go through RSPCA at all. Thanks for all the trauma and injuries Warnambool RSPCA.

We recently adopted a lovely cat from here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to give me some helpful advice to help her settle in at home and presented me with her health and Vetcare history. It was a really positive experience, and our cat is an excellent match to our family.

Got my beautiful cat Beau from here. Adoption process was easy, they were fast at getting back to me when I applied for him online. And he is the best cat! Highly recommend getting a cat from here

Friendly caring service for our fury besties. Recently had a clearly lost kitty at our doors. Rang rspca and within 20mins had the kitten at there doors. Super officiant friendly caring and thorough with all steps of process and great covid safety measures too. You all do great work thankyou for all that you do for our beautiful animals around us. They are in good hands here.

Staff are friendly and professional. We visited here to adopt a rescue dog. Everything was explained thoroughly and we were very happy with the whole experience. Also worth mentioning that these animals are incredible value for money, we couldn't be happier.
