The Chinnock B&B provided us with more welcome and open hospitality than I've ever experienced. Sandy's efforts as a host outshine those of any 5 star hotel I've stayed at.If you're looking for a truly relaxing time in a beautiful country home, you can't go further than this.

Welcoming and stylish country hospitality! We loved our stay at Chinnock B&B Gilgandra. It was a wonderful experience. It was easy to book (we called direct). We received a very warm welcome from Sandy and Laurie and the place was amazing. In a quiet street, with off-street parking the house is full of stylish heritage charm. Our room was gorgeous - large with high ceilings and a fantastic en-suite - good, strong shower and plenty of hot water. The bed was large and really comfy. We were there in winter and the reverse cycle system kept us warm and cosy. With a fridge, hair-dryer, lots of cupboard space and spare blankets etc...and many other extras, the room had everything we could need. Sandy included many thoughtful touches, including home-made snacks and tea and coffee in the room. We enjoyed a great meal at the Royal Hotel nearby and were delighted to come 'home' to the B&B to our bed sheets turned down, ready for us to jump in and a chocolate on the pillow - you don't get that kind of special hospitality very often! The breakfast was delicious - full cooked breakfast with home-made preserves and jams and freshly brewed organic, fair-trade coffee. There was a great family-lounge/verandah area that would be wonderful to relax in during warmer months. Also lots of information to read about the history of the house and the town.We are so glad that we got to experience the wonderful friendly hospitality in this gorgeous and charming B&B. We can highly recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay there again! I wish there were more B&B experiences like it.

Would not recommend this property at all! Was hoping to support a small local business :(Liked the host but the room & amenities were very dirty. Some examples were cobwebs on the towels, the bathtub was dirty & needed to be cleaned in order to bathe my daughter, there was a dead cockroach in the kettle spout so couldn’t be used. Dust on every surface so couldn’t really unpack our stuff. Felt very uncomfortable & ended up leaving & sleeping in the car. Very disappointing experience. Meat portion of breakfast was cancelled due to Good Friday, this was the hosts religious decision. Overall disappointed for the price.

5 Star Service traditional hospitality at its best. Like going to grandparents with excellent local history. Warmth and couldn't do more for you!

Lovely reinvented very old private hospital. People who run it are very courteous. Rooms are lovely, but could be slightly uncluttered
