Jeralee Boarding Kennels and Cattery

We have left our kelpie cross puppy here on a number of occasions, great friendly efficient service, they take great care of her and she always enjoys the social time.

Our dogs only stayed 2 nights but were happy when we collected them and not stressed at all. Their pen was a good size. Would definitely use this kennel again.

First time for my fur baby. A large day enclosure, & she had a heater in her night quarters . Lovely people. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend these kennels, lovely people run it and offer the services of pick up and drop off, will use them again

I would not recommend this cattery to anyone with a cat. I would not have left my cat there except that I was desperate but I will never use this place again regardless. The owners were lovely but I was shocked and appalled by the dark, dank and filthy conditions of the dirty pens, the unwashed bedding and the enclosure as a whole. Each pen had mud and dirt on the floors, walls and cat doors and had obviously not been cleaned between multiple animals over time, let alone each pet and the darkness meant I that I didn’t even realise that some pens had cats in them when I entered the facility. The bedding provided was filthy and unwashed. My cat is friendly and trusting however he was incredibly anxious and aggressive when I picked him up and I suspect no one had paid him any attention the entire week, let alone giving him a pat. He has stayed in cat hotels before and been fine but since this place he is scared of metal noises (bells, keys, cage door closes), and very nervous about car trips and travel, even six months later. I highly disapprove of the conditions of the facility and feel no animal should be kept like this.

I would not recommend Jeralee Boarding Kennels. We left our two dogs there for five days and were told by the owners that they were unable to walk them at all during that time due to poor weather. (We have checked this detail with a relative who lives nearby and have been assured that the weather was actually pleasant enough for outdoor exercise throughout most of the week).The enclosure area for dogs is dark and crowded. The shed has little natural light and dog cages have no visual barriers between them. (ie. The dogs could see all other dogs in the shed at all times, which can be highly stressful if the animals do not know each other).With little or no exercise and stressful boarding conditions, one of our dogs became quite strung out and attacked our other dog. In addition, some of the bedding material we left with our dogs was misplaced and never returned (two large dog blankets). We will not be using this service again.
