I was told today that my genuine Sony PS4 controller (purchased from here, with receipt) only has a 6 month warranty (EB Games policy) yet Sony has a 12 month warranty. It’s TOTALLY illegal to amend the manufacturers warranty from 12 down to 6 months. I wonder what else this store does that is dodgy.

The shop compared to other EB games has hardly any collectables or other items of interest to lure you in. The usual posters and advertisements (EB games style) is hardly ever present. I attended on a weekend and the shop was empty. I was browsing and have a good knowledge of systems and games. The young guy (19 old odd) never spoke. You could tell he was just not interested. I spoke to him and I barely got a grunt. Not interested in price matching or matching other EB games store prices. Trust me I am not a prude but this EB games is one of the worst.

Everything u could need for games. However, customer service was lacking. No worker came to offer assistance to customers on the floor, both behind counter chatting to each other.

its ok. store is too small, cramped, looks like a teenagers bedroom. about the size of a port a loo...when asked about pc games got told to just download them ie too much effort for them. ill stick to online for pc games if thats what you want.,.. and Jb HiFi for console games seeing how they wont price match ( which, correct me if im wrong, is a company policy?) why the hell would i pay $100+ for a game at Eb when its usually never more than $79 at most elsewhere? was happy to buy locally, but Eb makes it impossible.
