Chemist Warehouse Surry Hills
Very unfriendly and disorderly pharmacy with piles of medication boxes everywhere and it smells of chemicals. Customers are not greeted and are frowned on. Pharmacists yell at us. They claim that they are cheaper but it’s not even true. And I prefer the comfort, nice smells and consideration of traditional pharmacies.

The last two times i've been in the head pharmacist Nassir has been so incredibly friendly and helpful with both myself and other customers (one of which was quite difficult). Highly recommend!

I hate to give one star because this is my local pharmacy that I've been going to for years, but the guy who took my call re my prescription meds for home delivery was exceptionally dumb and rude. Not very helpful at all, even slammed the phone on me. I think this was the same unshaven guy I spoke with, who looked at me sharply, with the abrasive vibe, the last time I was there. You're in the wrong profession bud, try prison warden - or bouncer.

They're usually good at keeping the shelves stocked, there have only been a few times when I haven't been able to find what I wanted, but the staff are usually good at letting me know when they will be getting the next lot of stock when that has happened. The pharmacist, can take some time to be served, but once you get served, they're pretty fast getting the medication to you in a reasonable amount of time, if they're not able to, they're able to give you a timeframe so you can go and come back again.

I went to the store yesterday evening to ask if I could exchanged one of the perfumes I bought in another store.Firstly, the lady behind the counter was very helpful. She wasn’t sure and she said she’ll asked. But everyone was busy and I told her I’ll wait and I’ll ask myself.I then approached the Pharmacist Ali - an amazing gentleman. He told me it is possible as long as I’ve the receipt and the item is also sold in the store - all ticked.I came back with the item and the receipt and he gladly exchanged the item for me and refunded the price difference - what an excellent customer service delivery and experience.Thank you Ali and kudos.

Usually the staff are quite helpful. However today, the pharmacist on duty was very rude towards me, leaving me feeling so unwelcome and humiliated just because I asked for his help. I had no idea he was with a customer but still no excuse to be rude. It doesn’t hurt to be nice and polite. Instead he glared at me and gave me the dirtiest look. Poor client service! Shame!

I have only been here a handful of times but after today I am going to make a conscious effort to get all my pharmacy needs here.No it is not the most glamorous chemist around but the customer service is top level which is so important for buyer experience. Today I was helped at the prescriptions counter by Nicole and previously by a tall bearded male, they were both beyond helpful and sincere in meeting my requests. Thank you! Good customer service is really lacking in Sydney and it costs nothing extra to be nice to people!

Wheelchair accessible entrance however, the aisles are so jam packed with boxes and boxes of stock (half unpacked) that you cannot even get down the aisles. They are also super narrow with signage blocking turning circles.On the other hand, the staff and security guards are always very helpful - I am sure they are just in a tight spot in terms of accessibility due to whoever runs this joint.
