This is not your ordinary chickens shop. Aside from the well seasoned, tender and delicious chicken, I got to try to surprisingly large salads. The radicchio salad was excellent, and the potato salad was a really satisfying as well. I often find salads at restaurants to be lackluster and not enough for me, so I was really impressed.My friend and I also ordered a beef roll to share. The bread roll itself was delicious - nice crunchy crust , with really nice soft and chewy inside. It ended up being a bit too much food but thankfully we had a big run just before and were very hungry. The home made kombucha was also really good.The interior was also really nicely presented with great windows for watching people go by.

Quality, no-fuss food with culinary pedigree. We had a party with 100 guests, who loved the fresh salads, sauces, roast vegetables and meats. Andrew is amazing, he stays calm under pressure and is very organized. He has equipment for events of this size. He met us for a preliminary visit, was on time, kept the food hot, and picked up items the next day. The local take out shop is lovely too, that's how we found him.

Simple homely food cooked on charcoal. The roast veggies, especially the pumpkin are to die for. The portions are very generous too.

We ordered a whole chicken with roast potatoes, roast vegies, mac n cheese and extra gravy! Wow! It tasted like a lovely home cooked roast meal to me and my husband! We ordered for the 2 of us but it was enough for 2 dinners! The chicken was juicy and well seasoned and everything was yummy!

Recently had The Cookshop cater for a function for about 25 people - the whole experience was fantastic. Andrew was on time and managed the presentation of all the food with minimal fuss. He also listened to our requests (ie minimal garlic) and catered in abundance with chicken, pork, salads and rolls - not to mention gravy and salsa verde!! Our experience was so much better than going to a restaurant and all our guests left happy and commenting how amazing all the food was.Many thanks to all at The Cookshop for providing us with a memorable event!!

Honestly, this place is just so good. Family dinner sorted when you just can’t be bothered, or just because. The chicken was perfect and so juicy, the grain salad - delish, the roast veges - soooo yum and the mac n’ cheese is next level. Do yourself a favour and get the the salsa verde and the gravy, they are as delish as the rest of it!

Pretty great place, wonderful chips, come in MASSIVE portions, large would feed 6. Great place, make sure you check the chicken isn't pink, got food poisoning once. Great place though

Chicken cooked to perfection! Had this beautiful char that gave a nice smokiness to the skin. The stuffing was disappointing … I am not a fan of the rice (?) stuffing.The chips were crispy seasoned well but the gravy was a let down here. It had a odd taste to it I just could nt place. So mixed feelings given I drove 30 mins just to try out this place and also its a little on the pricer side for a 1/4 chicken chips gravy and drink meal at $20. Maybe just the chicken from here for me if I drive by again.
