Kaniva Midway Motel

We stopped here overnight on our way to the Gather round in Adelaide. It was a really nice Motel and the Lady who runs it Christina" was such great host. If you get a chance enjoy a hot breakfast."

Highlights were the manager, Christina, who was very welcoming and my goodness, can she cook! Seriously, get the breakfast!We had a twin share room which was comfortably appointed and clean.

I recently stayed at Kaniva Midway Motel and had an excellent experience thanks to the wonderful service provided by Kris. From the moment I arrived, Kris went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. She was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions or concerns I had.The room itself was clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a restful night's sleep. I appreciated the attention to detail, including the comfortable bed and pillows, fresh linens, and ample towels in the bathroom.But what really stood out was Kris's dedication to making my stay as enjoyable as possible. Her friendly demeanour and professional service truly made my stay at Kaniva Midway Motel a memorable one.I highly recommend this motel to anyone traveling through the area, and especially commend Kris for her exceptional service. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here randomly on the way to SA but very deliberately on the return journey. Room was dated but clean and comfortable. Kristina (manager) is an absolute gem, so friendly and helpful. Also a wonderful cook, highly recommend the breakfast.

May 1 2023, have just had a great experience. Kris is so welcoming and cooked a delicious breakfast for us. Such a quiet room, comfy bed, EB, lovely hot shower just like being at home with all comforts. Thank you.

Great host. Terrific pub across the road for dinner. Best cooked breakfast. Easy onsite parking with lots of room.

It starts and ends with customer service. After 10 hours on the road travelling with 2 children we were fried. We stopped here and were met by a lovely warm lady. She checked us in to a family room (queen bed and 2 singles with a separating wall) and showed us where we could park our van. After a very comfortable night sleep we were up bright and early to a HUGE cooked breakfast. What a feast. Made with love and was delicious. Even though the rooms are tired it’s the warmth and heart of the manager that will have us return on our next big road trip.

We had a lovely stay as a stopover on the way to Melbourne. Our accommodation was fine, but it was the manager that made our stay fantastic. She was so friendly, considerate and helpful. We were blown away by the size and quality of our cooked breakfast. We will definitely be back!

This hotel was amazing in every way. We slept there with our children on our way to Adelaide and also on our return to Melbourne. The manager Chris is absolutely wonderful, very kind and professional. The room was perfect and the hotel is super quiet. I recommend staying here and we will definitely be back. This place was a great stop between Melbourne and Adelaide. The motel is clean and fine, but on its own is nothing special, what made our overnight stay so good was the manager, Kristina, who truly is a gem and goes out of her way to make sure you are happy! She took the time to ensure we had the best room for us, made my child feel so welcome, gave us good local recommendations and then there’s the breakfast! Kristina offers a cooked breakfast option, and I highly recommend this for a very affordable price. The big breakfast will satisfy you if you have a huge appetite! I wasn’t sure what to expect from Kaniva, but was very happy with the choice. Thanks for the hospitality!
