Have been at Penny Red a couple of times already! New Zealander and coffee stout are my numbers one. Yum yum! Friendly atmosphere, live music, great owners. Loved it !!

Fantastic beer and location. The stouts were some of the best that I've tried, the Golden Stout was a very pleasant surprise. I’m not a fan of hazy beers – but the one on tap here could see me being a convert. If I lived closer, I think I would become a regular. Definitely worth a stop if you love great beer and need a break from the wines.

Great addition to the local area and awesome to have a really good brewery with food and friendly faces.Love all of their beers and honestly wish I could spend more time having a few, but sadly have to go home at some point! They've got a little food truck cranking out some pretty nice local pizza too.Very friendly place and always a spot at the bar if that's your thing. The owners are really nice and so is new barman Jamie who couldn't be friendlier. If you haven't been, get down there. If you're not super into beers there's a winery next door so you've got no excuse for at least having a try.

I recently visited Penny Red Beer Co and had an amazing experience! The location next to Sew & Sew Wines is fantastic and adds to the overall atmosphere and outlook of the place. But what really stood out were the beers - they were all absolutely delicious and a must-try for any beer lover. The iced coffee stout was a particular standout for me - it had a rich, smooth flavour that was absolutely heavenly. But honestly, every beer we tried was excellent, and the range of flavours and styles available was impressive.I also have to give a special shout-out to Jess, who was lovely and welcoming throughout our visit. She was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked inOverall, I highly recommend Penny Red Beer Co for anyone looking for fantastic beer, a great location, and friendly service. It's definitely worth a visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Penny Red Beer Co. Wonderful hosts and lovely vibe AND the beer and pizza were amazing! We arrived on a wet, windy and cold winter day, but that didn’t detract from the experience.Loved it (& will enjoy when summer arrives!)

A cozy rustic gem!The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. This brewery is a perfect way to spend a day / night. Plenty of seating, areas to stand and locally made Pizza.Beers are delicious, along with the Cider they stock from another local business.Definitely a small business to get around!

Fantastic beers, the West Coast, New England and Red IPA are great, the NZ IPA a distinctive showcase of kiwi hops and malt, the iced coffee stout has a cult following.Sew & Sew Wines share wares with Penny Red so you can enjoy both at either, making it worth heading up the hill for groups with varied tastes.BYO food or grab a locally crafted pizza, with more in the food truck dept soon I'm sure. Lovely spot and people.
