Best Life Dog Training & Behaviour

Courtney has helped us tremendously with our 8 month old Rotti (Hakeem). As you can imagine at 40kg, he can be a challenge to walk. Courtney worked with us on his loose lead walking and impulse control, which has made walking Hakeem a lot easier and less stressful. He improved tenfold after one lesson with her and a week of consistent training on our behalf.Courtney's knowledge about dogs (especially large breeds, which was important for us ), their behaviour and dietary requirements is invaluable! She is so patient and kind, we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I can't recommend Courtney highly enough. I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed after moving our two pups, Bob and Roger, to a new house, which led to regressive and anxious behaviours in Roger that flowed on to effect Bob (and the rest of us). From the first appointment Courtney's calm, positive and instructive suggestions not only helped Roger and Bob but also gave us the confidence we needed to work through the issues. I have learned so many skills from Courtney that I could not get from Googling or YouTube. I needed specific solutions for my situation and she was able to provide them. Courtney is a also pleasure to deal with and she's always happy to help. I have already recommended her to others in person but I wanted to write this review because I know good behaviouralists are hard to find and I want other people struggling like I was to get the help they need.

Getting an initial consultation appointment is by far the best choice I made for my new puppy and myself. My fur baby has learnt important vital signs and tricks in less than a week based entirely from the advice given during the consultation. The staff member went above and beyond with additional information to suit our needs and instantly knew what our puppy needed to work on. I’m so thankful for that and for so much kindness and support.

I can’t say enough good things about Courtney, her methods & support- my little staffy had such bad separation anxiety that he had broken through windows & gone off my front deck. I had tried everything including thunder vest, electric fence, medications, rescue remedy etc. This is the only thing that works! I can now leave the house for a few hours without worrying he will hurt himself or escape! Such a difference. Thanks for giving me back a less stressed dog and some time to myself!
