Granite Gardens Cottages Accommodation
From the start of the booking as a surprise for my wife the communication and service was excellent. Upon arrival Chis was very friendly and helpful. A lovely hand written note wishing my wife a happy birthday along with a bottle of local champagne and other treats. There was a small nail protruding on the deck, so I text Chris and he fixed it immediately when we left for the day, along with another hand written note of apology and another small jar of Lynn's wonderful rocky road chocolate. The room had everything and much more. The breakfast supplies with local cured bacon and many other local delights was fantastic, they thought of everything. The hospitality was the very best, thank you!! We'll certainly be recommending and will be back with friends. Well done Chris and Lynne

Hosts were lovely, accommodation was very clean & well presented. Loved having the fire place. Everything was there to make your stay comfortable, including a wonderful spread for breakfast & snacks. Great location for a getaway.

What an amazing few days we had. Lovely cottage, plenty of room for the two of us and your puppy. Cosy and warm, lovely pot belly stove. The hamper was wonderful, everything we could want included and the Nespresso machine was also a welcome surprise. Jill, Cosmo and I look forward to returning again soon. Thanks

The most peaceful and relaxing holiday. Magnificent accommodation in the Retreat including a King bed and leather lounges, combustion heater,well appointed kitchen and lovely bathroom with very thing you need. Complimentary breakfast and nibbles which was just what we needed with our wine. The best owners ever Lynne and Chris (Rigby) go out of their way to make certain you have a lovely stay. Thank you for looking after us. We will be back.

Granite Gardens Cottages & Lake Retreat is one of the best country escapes available. The setting is stunning, grounds were immaculately maintained & the breakfast hamper was delicious, filled with all local produce & some house-made goodies. The hosts Lynne & Chris make you feel like part of their family as soon as you arrive. Their hospitality is more than you could ask for & was very much appreciated. Chris and Lynne were amazing hosts. I spoke to Lynne about the special occasion that my wife and I were celebrating, and she went above and beyond to make it so memorable. The accommodation is incredibly private and homely. Our little puppy was welcomed with open arms, and had a wonderful time exploring the grounds. And each morning we woke up to amazing breakfast provisions to line the stomach for wine tasting!We highly recommend and will be back soon.

Had the pleasure of spending two nights at Granite Gardens and Cottages which my husband booked for my birthday. We arrived after a 3hr drive from the Gold Coast and were greeted by a very friendly and hospitable host Chris. We were showed to our cottage and Chris took us in and explained all the amenities. Being my birthday weekend I was greeted with a lovely note and bottle of sparkling wine on the table. So sweet and thoughtful!The cottage was well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. Surprisingly quite a bit of space, the photos online do not do this place any justice. Chris and his wife Lynne have gone above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and at home. The fridge was stocked with heaps of provisions from local suppliers for a country style breakfast which we did not expect and some home made rocky road made by Lynne. We had everything we needed to make our stay super comfortable and our home away from home for two nights. The bed was very comfortable (we slept so well both nights!) with an electric blanket which came in super handy on the cold nights. The cottage has a spa bath and we enjoyed using that on our first night. Cannot believe how quiet and beautiful this place is. From the balcony of our cottage the stunning view was of the immaculately manicured gardens and lake. Load of flowers, trees and green lush grass surrounded the cottages. Absolutely beautiful place to stay, great location only a short 10 min drive to Stanthorpe and we will absolutely go back to enjoy it again. Chris and Lynne were the most gracious and generous hosts and are what make Granite Gardens all the more special.Thank you fromBrett and Claudia

Granite Gardens Cottages Accommodation
Beautiful, quiet setting and wonderful hosts, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The accommodation is clean and very well presented. It is close to town and all other attractions (wineries, national parks etc). Chris and Lynne cannot do enough to help ensure your stay is enjoyable. help We only wished we could have stayed longer.
