I booked an appointment at the Cut & Colour Room based on other google reviews and I was not disappointed - I was delighted!I had an appointment with Giang and she was fabulous. It's possibly the nicest, easiest hairstylist appointment of my adult life.I now live with a disability and can't do my hair as I used to so my hair has gotten progressively shorter in the last two years for ease of management. I mentioned my need for a low maintenance style and Giang delivered, as well as tips on general hair care that I've never received ever.

HANDS DOWN singly THE worst experience I have ever had at a hairdresser. Toner and foils were almost deliberately patchy and sections of both foils and toner at end have been missed.I have three different colours in my hair now and re growth is not covered at all on top. The hairdresser pushed product onto me with out even consulting prior to even sitting down in the chair.Totally careless and rough comb - through after being at the basin, resulting in a full comb of lost blond foiled hair due to rough treatment and lack of careful de-tangling. - even with the wide toothed comb!I thought I was in good hands having the salon manager Kira do all of this but this is not the case. Her attitude was completely unprofessional and off hand and the end result was appalling service and my hair ruined to say the least.I was so disgusted that my husband took back the product I had purchased only to be told by Kira that she couldn't issue a refund, as she wasn't sure how and said she would refund into our bank account a.s.a.pWe gave them the details and even waited as you know how banks are...This took 3 full days and ONLY happened when I contacted them again asking for it! !!I am now having to have my hair repaired at more cost after already paying good money at this salon.

My hair was destroyed and I had to cut it short and wait for it to grow out whilst it was a yucky orange colour.Holly applied a straightening treatment to my hair and then bleach a week or so later. This over processed my hair turned my hair an orangish colour, dried it out that it went all frizzy, it literally could not be saved or coloured on the damaged pieces which was pretty much all of it except for a few centimetres from the roots. I had to cut my hair short and wait for the damage to grow out whilst using expensive hair treatments in attempt to try and style it for the next few years (that did not really work). I tried to work with the salon manager as they initially told me it could be repaired and offered free products etc, then one of the other hairdressers who saw me when the manager was unavailable advised that it could not be saved and I would have to cut / grow it out. I have asked for a refund several times and not received one, I lodged a complaint with the relevant government organisation to which they did not reply which left independent legal action. Not only am I truly disappointed that Holly destroyed my hair, I feel like the salon / manager owner stringed me along with false information and no intention of ever refunding me.

Third time I've used the salon. Always clean, welcoming, professional and efficient - and up for a good chat. Couldn't be happier.

My hair is ruined! Seven years of growing my hair out and it broken right to the roots.I wasn't going to write a review but after looking for a new hairdresser and reading reviews, I felt the need to share.I walked in with healthy strong coloured hair. After my first colour, my hair was completely burnt and brittle. I thought perhaps I'd try again and I asked the owner of my hair was maybe reacting with the product they use and her response was to wash my dog with the shampoo I have been using and understand that as women age, so do thier hair and that's why my hair is damaged. Seriously? Instead of taking responsibility and suggesting we look at fixing it, or treating it, I get told I've aged in 4 weeks and ruined my own hair by using shampoo only fit for a dog.Such a disgusting experience.

Giang Brooke is amazing at what she does. She made my hair look absolutely beautiful and I loved it so much, she is so kind and a great person who takes time to break down your look and give you pointers on how to make it better

Went here to see the lovely Taylah. She is on her 2nd year apprenticeship and did an amazing job. I got an all over colour, trim, treatment, blow dry and style from her. She definitely was very confident in her work and it showed!

Holly absolutely transformed my hair!!! It was orange and terrible and it is now the most gorgeous ashy blonde! Incredibly reasonable prices, amazing outcome. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.
