Buns On Me
Always on the lookout for a nice toasted sandwich so had to try Buns On Me which only opened 3 months ago. I'm a vegetarian and they had 2 toasties I could try but opted for the 4 cheese toastie. It was nice but think the bread could have been thicker. They offer Vietnamese options such as Banh Mi and rice paper rolls with pork or chicken or tofu. I brought a crumbed chicken Banh Mi takeaway for husband but next time I'll also get a tofu one for me. They have seating inside and out including along counter, American style, which I always love. They also cutely have dog chino and biscuit for your 4 legged friends!

Buns On Me
I was very excited to have a spot serving Vietnamese rolls & salads in the area but it was a little disappointing. The noodles in the salad where all clumped together and had a strange taste to them and there was barley any herbs however the pork was great. The roll was okay but didn’t have the authentic Vietnamese taste as it was loaded with a mayo. Hope my next visit will be better!

Had the roast pork banh mi and mushroom toastie. Roast pork was crispy, juicy and the roll was very well balanced overall. Mushroom toastie was flavourful and had a lovely point of difference to other mushroom toasties that I’ve had before. Had a chat with the owners and was very impressed. They use duck parfait in their banh mi and miso cauliflower purée in their toastie. Delicious!

Great spot on hampton street. Nice clean fit out inside and two large tables outside. Very fresh sandwiches taste amazing

Nice and friendly owners with warm welcome.Food is amazing. Awesome homestead crackling pork Banh Mi, delicious sandwich such as the pesto chicken and the roast lamb. Also tried the vietnamese chicken salad, which was tasty.Around 25 seats indoor.Highly recommended! Worth a try.

The miso tofu banh mi is really fresh, delicious and can be made vegan (they have vegan mayo). They also started stocking coconut condensed milk for their Viet iced coffee, rare find these days. Definitely worth it!

The beef cheek and mortadella subs are amazing. Huge feeds, couple comfortably feed two people with one sub.
