Had the best experience. Our host Sam gave us a warm welcome on rainy day. The food came perfect timing and the finish tea had the best touch.

Ordered the mutton & rice and garlic naan. Was going to order on their website then there was an additional charge to pay with card so just went in store. It is only $1 but a little concerning and cannot find a genuine reason for the additional charge. Food was ok tasting but the mutton was full of bones with no meat and the garlic naan was tasteless, small and dry, especially for $3.50. I unfortunately didn’t take a picture of the curry but did of the garlic naan. Customer service was good though.

EDIT:Thankyou for the reply and explanation. It does make sense. We run our own food business, and understand the challenges, especially in the current climate.We will be back again, as the food was really delicious.May I suggest giving the menu as most people would expect, but tell people before they order, you would love for them to sample 6 or so authentic dishes before they order. Give the customer this option as it will be confusing for most people.I have changed my 3 stars to 4.Best of luck with the new business.Positives - the food was really delicious and samples were brought to the table in paper cups for 6 dishes to try. Prices reasonable.Negatives - Paper plates and cardboard teaspoons are not ideal for dining in. Communication not clear due to language. The young man serving us was very smiley and polite, however we just wanted the menu to order what we wanted.He disappeared for a few minutes, and we werent sure what was going on. We almost left, but he brought out the samples just as we were going to. We did end up getting 2 dishes from the samples and butter chicken. They may still be setting up and getting settled in. was all a bit weird, but very delicious food.

My family had recommended this restaurant to me as something a little different, but worth the trip, and were they ever right.The vibe, the ordering experience, everything was very different to most other restaurants, but the food was absolutely brilliant, completely worth it.We had the butter chicken, the pillapayalam chicken, the ghee rice, and two parotas (roti).Delicious, and very generous servings - we both ate, then packed the leftovers for the kids to try a bit of everything...Worth taking a chance on something different.

I had a lovely experience eating here last Friday with a friend. The garden lights and decor inside were so inviting. I love the pretty tables and orange chairs. The atmosphere is further enhanced by the staff's genuine warmth and friendliness.We both liked the idea of the small free samples which were brought to us to aid selection and thought the big container of tissues on the tables is a good idea.Our food selections were very much enjoyed and prices are very reasonable.We will definitely be back.More good news. Kolapasi is open for lunch!

They need to improve on service . chicken 65 excellent. Biryani excellent but meat was separate and mixed in. Butter chicken very average. Parathas excellent soft and flaky, Lunch time vegetarian was good but with just 2 veg variations thats not a good deal even with all you can eat for $18, i was told they will add more so i will be going back to see if they do, it was a good experience very large restaurant with kid friendly atmosphere. Some dishes definitely had the south Indian taste and since they just opened i will be trying all they have on offer and will hopefully give them a 5 start . I certainly recommend and i am sure they will improve, staff are very polite and friendly and they know they have to improve and told me they just opened .

Had a lovely banana leaf lunch ( drink included) ,superb service,staff very attentive at tables for refills which was amazing! Meat dishes were awesome,felt like i was back in sg/ malaysia! Would have given 6 stars if there were more meat /seafood options besides mutton and chicken
