Top 2 Bottom Roof Restorations

Cracked tiles glued together and painted over, At least a dozen. Paint is powdery and porous, has gone black with mildew and has moss growing on the tiles. So called you beaut flexible pointing is separating from the tiles and ridge capping. All this after 5 years. Top 2 Bottom say there is nothing wrong with the roof.Roof now looks worse than before the job was done.2018 now and the roof has gone black with mould and dirt. Don't trust these incompetent twits.

Attempted for about 8 months to have David come around and quote us for roof repointing and some very minor insulation repairs from the February/March storms. Failed on multiple occasions to even turn up to any appointments we made. Last straw was taking a da off from work to make sure I was home all day to give time options to him. No contact, and a no show. Very unprofessional. Wish I had read these reviews first.

I hired this Company to repair and paint my roof.They were recommended by Estate agents ( who are now very I embarrassed to have done so )I was trying to sell my house and had 1week to get my roof painted.This company said the would do it .so he asked for $600 deposit ( big mistake) But after several no turn ups the turn up on A Friday and removed around 90 ridge and hip tiles 3/4 hours workdisappeared and said we will be back to marrow ( sat) well guess what NO SHOW!! There I was with lose ridge tiles on my roof for the week end .I was up set by this so I texted him , he texted back ‘the bloke has a SORE BACK will Monday do !! ‘ at this time I was understandably panicking ,One word lead to another and he called it quitsLeft me with lose ridge tiles wit no mortar on them , and yes made off with to h the $ 600 deposit saying that was to pay for the works done very well paid for removing 90 ridge tilesHe was not able to carry out the work may be too busy and could not say no to any work .I found them to be unreliable and I don’t think the work carried out was $600 worth .They must be ok with their work or the would not be in business, but to leave a man in desperation, we’ll that’s not on , should not have taken my job in the first place .I wish them all the best and every success in the future ,

Do not use this business. Warranty is worthless.New paint began cracking and peeling off the noses of tiles after 4 years. Contacted them referring to the warranty, David inspected and said that it was the old paint and not his problem. The cleaning and prep work of the roof, prior to painting, was his job and was obviously done poorly leading to the current problem.Will most likely end up in small claims court. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

We recently got our roof and shed repaired and and painted and we are very pleased with David and his team what they have done. Very professional in every way. Will be recommending them to family and friends.

I highly recommend Top2Bottom for their customer service and workmanship. As a result of heavy rains in March and April 2019, there was a serious leak in the tiled roof which affected the bathroom ceiling. A speedy response to my inquiry resulted in a cost-effective quote and next day roof restoration, plus repainting of the ceiling. A follow-up visit to ensure all was OK was greatly appreciated. I will be contacting Top2Bottom again for any further roof work as they do a total job (roof restoration including cleaning and painting inside). Great job thanks.

DO NOT USE TOP 2 BOTTOM roof restorations. We had a leak in the roof after the first storm and it took us well over 18 months to get him out to try and find any broken tiles. He would give us a date when he would inspect the roof and he just would not show up, no calls to inform you that he was busy and when you spoke to him next time he would have a list of reasons why he could not make it, After a number of heated phone calls I finally got him to inspect the roof, his comments were there was no broken tiles and that it was not his problem. I got on the roof with him only to find that there were a lot of places were I could see the original roof colour through the painted surface as well as moss growing on the tiles. He told us that the warranty period is 12 months and that we have passed that time so the roof is no longer covered. Speaking to the paint manufacture of the paint the warrantee period according to State Laws he must give us is 6 years and 6 months not 12 months he is claiming. Save yourself a lot of money USE SOMEONE ELSE.

Absolutely Five-star service, result and price. David cannot be recommended any higher after he restored my investment property roof. I had three quotes and he was the best price and did a fantastic job to bring this roof back to looking this good! Thank you!!!!!!
