Bundaberg Dog Motel

My dog was bleeding from both front paws and had a gash on her upper leg after 2 days in this facility. The owner was evasive in letting me view the premises as he shut the gate after himself blocking me from seeing where she was kept. My car seat and carpets are covered in blood stains and they denied knowledge of her injury, which is not believable as her paws continued to weep blood throughout the night so there would have been visible blood in the cage for them to see. This indicates she was not checked on at all...food was probably slid under the gate and no effort was made to ensure my dog felt safe and free from harm trying to escape. This leads me to believe the dog enclosure was not safe eg. Unsafe fencing that didn't extend to the ground to discourage digging or sharp materials in the ground which cut her flesh between her paws. Extremely non-responsive or empathatic staff who failed to accept responsibility in neglecting her and informing us in the spirit of transparency. Offered no refund or attempt to cover expenses of car cleaning or vet bills. If this review allowed me to upload photographic evidence .....it would speak for itself.

I can't thank the management and staff enough for the loving care they showed my beloved fur babies. They looked after my babies better than l could of asked for. I am forever indebted to them for being there when l needed to have my babies safe. My fur kids where well fed and look after so well.Can highly recommend Bundaberg Dog Motel.You'll find them friendly professional and attentive with reasonable prices.Thank you so much

I use this motel every time I have something on - even today getting ready to move to Brisbane and my beautiful girl is going somewhere I consider safe and comfortable

Our dog had cuts over its body when we picked her up and had lost weight, to the extent that we booked her into the vets to get it checked out. Service was also not the greatest. We have used different pet motels before and never had a problem. We won't use this place again.

We had read great things about this place and thought it would be a safe/comfortable place for a fur baby. Upon pick up we realised that she had not been washed since arrival. There was food all over the ground like the kennel had not been cleaned in days. There was a small timber slab as a bed. This was our first time leaving our baby somewhere alone and she has come back so depressed and dirty. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. The staff seemed lazy and unprofessional. We will no longer be leaving our girl there. BEWARE

It met all our dog's needs and he looked pretty happy after being there.

I moved into a new home and for a period of a year and a half my fur baby was fine in the back yard I could leave her without any worries of her being hurt or escaping.Then over a period of 3 months I noticed a huge change in her temperament, behaviour and her anxiety levels which became very high.Finally with video footage I came to understand what was happening to her every time I left the house.After huge vet bills, training to help her cope with the home situation, calling numerous departments and kennels for help the world felt like it was crashing down for my fur baby and there was no light at the end of the tunnel.Then I found the Bundaberg Dog Motel, truly a blessing and till this day 3 years have passed my Fur Baby loves to go and spend time in the Kennels, she loves both the handlers and it is never a problem to get her to stay at puppy day care or stay for a few days.The best thing is they are very affordable especially for someone who is on a very low income and just wants some were safe to leave their puppy while either at work or just out for the day.I know she is happy, content, not being harassed and no one can steel her out of the back yard.Thank you so much Bundaberg Dog Motel, my fur baby will be attending puppy day care and sleepovers for the rest of her life.Extremely happy owner and very excited puppy, highly recommend the Bundaberg Dog Motel.
