Kulsh Palace Indian Restaurant
Service was disgusting and disgraceful and establishment was extremely run down to the point I felt unsafe parking my car and walking into the restaurant. I wish I had a closer look at the reviews and seeing the owners response to constructive criticism which was unnerving and disgraceful response to the reviews. Not to mention the quality of food which I should have put straight in the bin and was a waste of $100 as I felt like I would get sick from eating the chicken. I ended up feeling unwell later that night and it is unconfirmed if it was related to the chicken but I have suspicions! THIS IS NOT ATHLETIC INDIAN FOOD!! Save for money and health

I have never actually eaten food from this restaurant. However, I felt compelled to write something in the review section. After reading all the responses from the restaurant owner in regard to customer complaints, I'm surprised this place is still open for business. Instead of politely apologising for whatever complaint the customer had and promising to take the positive criticism to heart with a reassurance to correct any mistakes, (like most responsible restaurant owners) they think that verbally attacking any customer that dares to write anything other than glowing reviews, is actually a great way to encourage people to try their food. They also openly admitted that the terrible state of the gardens around the restaurant was not, and never would be, much of a priority for them, even though this was brought up by a few customers as reasons for why they wanted to avoid this place like the plague. This just confirms my suspicion that the owners are lazy and have no interest in improving their business. I've never seen anything quite like it. Just reading management's responses was, on its own, more than enough to help me to decide to never enter this business at any time in the future. Huge pass.

After relocating for work, my family has ordered consistently from this place over the past 12 months. My wife is Indian heritage and very fussy with her food, I use to own a restaurant, and as such am also fussy. I think the job that this family does continuing the operation of their family businesses is amazing and the quality of their food is consistently high and always pleasing to us. It's clear that their premise is a bit dated and once would of been an amazing paradise of elegance, I can only assume as age creeps into a family run business It's harder to maintain such a vast beautiful property. In saying that, do not let this stop you from supporting this great little gem. Their food is amzing, customer service is tops and they clearly care about what they do. I've been disappointed by other operators in the area and was ecstatic when we came across Secret Harbour's greatest secret, Kulsh Palace.

Kulsh Palace Indian Restaurant
Have driven past this place for years and decided to give it a go. The food was brilliant!! I have never had such good Indian food at a restaurant. The gentleman serving our family was extremely helpful and service was great. Yes, the outside gardens need tending and yes, it’s a house converted to a restaurant. But inside was sparkling clean and well maintained. So if you’re looking for a fantastic Indian meal with great service, this is the place to go!

We had a large group for my partners birthday. There was zero complaints about the food and the owner seems lovely. The restaraunt is a good size but it was hard for some to find the place with wet weather that night as they need some better signage/lighting. The restaraunt is slightly dated and could do with an update but we would definately recommend for the food and we will be going again 100%

Do not recommend this place, set in what is a house repurposed as a restaurant, the reason they keep going is because they don't have the overheads other businesses do that run out of shop fronts.. but instead of putting that savings in to providing good quality food and service, you get old run down facilities, poor quality food and serious lack of understanding how to deliver decent customer service.I suggest before going you sort reviews from lowest - read these and the response from the owner will support my comments on the lack of customer service - rude and indignant.Spend your money elsewhere!

Kulsh Palace Indian Restaurant
Celebrated my birthday here. We had the place to ourselves. The owner served us and looked after us well. The food was yum! We had papadum, Bombay potato, veg curry, steamed rice, safron style rice, garlic cheesy naan. They even made my fave - Mango Lassi. Love the decor inside. Thanks for a great evening.

Telephoned and asked if they still had the buffet. Was told by the lady that they didn’t, and that I could have a look at the menu on their website. Only their take away menu was on the website, however a small surcharge will apply.Great! I checked out the menu and rang back the next day, this time speaking with a man. I told him I’d like a table for 7 on Sunday. I then said that I’d be ordering the $50 special and the $100 special (as per the menu). He was very quick to tell me that this was only available for the take away menu. I told him that I was already aware of the surcharge and was happy to pay it. He then quite arrogantly and bluntly repeated that this was only available on the takeaway menu. If that’s the case they should take it off the menu. Zero common sense and communication/customer service skills. If this is what their like I’m glad I found out in advance. So thanks, saved me a trip.
