Varsity Lakes Skatepark
Went to the Aware Skate Jams event there on a Thursday afternoon which started at 4pm. It was an awesome community vibe with all ages connecting, food and friendly encouraging people. I think the community needs more of this as it stops people gathering in council parks and doing silly things. Took my 9 year old daughter and she had a great time. I've seen other comments on here and thing that parents concerned about their kids should take some time to go with their kids and help set an example of connecting with the community. It's the only way to change any negative connotations. For skating this park is exceptional and smooth. Awesome bowl!

Varsity Lakes Skatepark
I take my 3 year old there very often. It has never felt unsafe but I do need to help him understand that the bigger kids and grown ups are there to do there thing and not wanting to be interrupted or have to dodge his rogue skateboard. It never seems overly busy and because it’s big enough there is always space for everyone to enjoy it. It’s also very big so there are heaps of options. As well as plenty of parking options, a water fountain and public toilets. Plus it’s opposite a fuel service station with a shop.

Great sized park with a Novice to Pro outlook.Everyone here is friendly and helpful, great for families to spend a few hours with plenty of shaded seating to watch over the kids rip it up.

Varsity Lakes Skatepark
Park starts with beginner area with banks, ledges and wall rides. Continues up with outside ramp and steps inside ft. more ledges and rails. End of park has bowl full pipe and rainbow rail on top. Toilets and seating. Security camera at bowl end. No graphitti. Down points: no boxes and some transition angles not the best for scooters. Overall ok.

Not sure about the reviews saying skaters aren’t friendly here.But I’ve never had an issue, we bring our daughter here often all of us skate and always have a good time.Plenty of seating space and always free space to do your thing.Toilets provided. Just make sure you bring a water bottle
