Got the sqid,fish and chips and all were fresh and tasty.Good size and priced according.Can recommend for taste and value.

I would have given it a 5.We had fish and chips tonight.I've raved over the food coming out of your van. The squid just melts in the mouth and the fish is beautiful..not heavy on the batter...BUT..GUYS!!What happen to the chips! I'm fussy about chips. This was far below the standard.

Couldn't keep up with the orders they were taking. It was such a backlog I waited an hour to get my squid rings and chips. Food ended up being alright but wow they should have stopped taking orders to keep up with the demand...

Service was very slow. Order completed in parts and left on bench. Half my order was cold, batter gone soggy, unlikely to try again.

Each time I've been it's been great! Huge feed that we couldn't finish.

Very hit and miss unfortunately. It depends who is cooking and how soggy/greasy the food is. Today it was swimming in oil and chips were cold. The seagulls were stoked having a full meal on me. Shame they have such potential :(

At 4:17, my order was placed for a tray of squid and chips for $15. My ticket was given to me and they called out the number “Sixty-Six”, I looked at my ticket and it was number 89. I thought that they could catch up quickly, I was wrong.After 10 minutes of not paying attention, I wondered what number they were at. I listened closely because the venue was quite loud, and I heard the words: “Sixty-Eight!” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I got closer to listen just in case I heard it wrong, but I heard it absolutely correctly.After 15-20 minutes, the person that ordered after me (#90) noticed that they were still taking new orders even though they were struggling enough at it is to keep up with the ones they already had. It was obvious that they could not supply what was being demanded. I would personally not take orders for about 30 minutes to catch up with the already taken orders. Number 90 went up to the window to listen what they were saying to the new customers. They saw that they were not telling new customers that there would be a wait for their food. So they went up to the counter and told the cashier that they should tell the customers that there is a wait. That scared off the customer that they were currently taking the order of but alas, nothing was said to new customers after that. After 30 minutes, they asked for their money back and got it.At 5:17, exactly 1 hour from when I ordered, I got my squid and chips, they were still taking orders and customers had numbers well over 100. The food was mediocre, parts were only warm at best. The food was definitely not worth the hour wait.TL;DR: Waited an hour before receiving a serve of squid and chips that were only average. Still took orders even when they were 25 behind at all times. Could not produce enough of their product to match what was being demanded.

Some days the fish and chips are great but unfortunately they are few and far between. I could not take a second bite as the fish was dripping oil and the chips were cold and limp. Sad it's such a good location and potential.
