Journey Bright

Visited Bright last weekend and discovered this treasure of a shop with delightful helpful and chatty staff.I bought a wonderful pot for plants, it was decorated in a bush style featuring a kangaroo, and also bought a large heavy plant pot which I knew I needed from the moment I saw it.Staff were very helpful in protectively wrapping my purchases.Shop is very bright and cheerful, full marks.

Rude staff. Plenty of other beautiful stores in Bright - avoid!

Incredibly rude staff. Didn’t say hello but looked up to tell me not to take my pram on the carpet. Perhaps everyone should take their shoes off at the door to protect the shop’s precious carpet.

Absolutely beautiful shop but unfortunately due to the extremely rude and arrogant staff they will never see a cent of my money.I had wanted to buy a hall table but I was completely ignored by the first two staff members I saw and then a third staff member came from the back and instead of greeting me she rudely asked me to leave the store because I had an unopened drink in my hand.Leave I did and took my $500 with me.

Beautiful shop with lovely garments and flower displays. Despite the comments on here I found both shop attendants warm and welcoming

I’d been eying off a $200+ blue silk dress (with 30% off) in Journey and went back the next day to try it on. There was only one left. I could not see it on the rack so when the shop assistant asked if I needed help, I asked if the dress had been sold. I was told it had been tried on earlier in the day and was ripped along a seam, so they threw it in the bin! I asked to see it so the shop assistant and manager then pulled the skirt out of the bin in front of me. I saw the rip, suggested I could get it fixed (and laundered given it was in the bin!) and asked to try it on. I liked the dress and said I would take it. I was then told I could purchase it for 50% off. Not 50% off the already discounted price, 50% off the full price. This dress had just been pulled from the bin. A beautiful, unique, silk, made in Italy dress! I then offered the staff $50 for the dress and that was refused - they said they would write the dress off as a loss and they threw the dress back in the bin. Never have I had a shopping experience so ridiculous and never have I met staff so rude. What a waste of a stunning dress. Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful shop with some great homeware items.

Absolutely gorgeous shop! BUT l instantly felt bad vibes from the staff. I was drawn to stay because alot of beautiful things caught my eye.I have recently done up a spare room and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to purchase decor for the finishing touches. Alot of what was on display l felt where the perfect items. I was willing to spend a fair bit. The staff who was attending to me was the opposite to friendly. I felt like l was a bother to her. I was asking her for styling advice. Showing her photos of my creation and at one stage l used the words 'my friend' to her and she said don't call me 'my friend' and l was in shock. No the worst thing someone could say to someone! Strange and rude. I then said to her l don't like the vibes in here and walked out! She made me feel like l was beneath her. What an awful experience. I love Bright. Our very fist time here. The only unpleasant person l have come across. I think your personalities should match you beautiful shop. Such a shame!All the the best my friends!

Some negative reviews on here but not from us. We found the staff and the whole ambience of the shop to be be first class definitely a go to place in Bright. Varied and interesting stock and something for everyone
