Crescent Head Veterinary Hospital

My sister just got back from a trip where she took her pet here , the dog was in so much pain, and no pain relief was given at the time not anti biotics when there was open wounds, after the visit straight after, he couldn't walk for 3 days after being to this vets so they didn't return. When they returned home and after getting advice from other fellow vets via phone , 3 others stated what had been done shouldn't have been done and that there is seminars about this particular incident . Not only was the animal in pain, howling each night and didn't sleep not walk, he now has developed an infection due to carelessness. My sister didn't have the heart to write a review but for me to hear my sister upset on the phone about her pet crying while she was on her first trip away in over 3 years, I think others should know.

Heather is so lovely and caring with the animals in her care and I feel totally comfortable leaving my little furbaby in her capable hands

I want to thank heather with all my heart for being such an incredible woman and our families super vetonly a few weeks ago she saved my young great danes lifeafter she was bitten by a black snakeshe went above and beyond her call of duties (as she always does ) from hourly care to making my big girl as comfortable as she could with to many thing to name .I have been using heather for years, to treat all kinds of animals, from horses to puppies and I have always been more then happy with her approach to treatment and her kind heart when it comes to being able to emphasise with both animal and owner ❤ I will continue to have her care for my babies in the futureif your looking for a no nonsense vet , kind hearted and in the knowI highly recommend cresecnt head veterinary hospital.. she if the best in the area in my opinion and I have used them all before she came to town

lovely staff who truly care about the animals they treat. were upfront about any (very reasonable) costs or fees involved. The staff have a wonderful approach, they were extremely reassuring & turned an otherwise stressful situation into a relaxed, positive experience. Cannot recommend them enough. Just make sure you book in advance if possible, they are understandably popular.

Heather is amazing fixed spike my baby puppy and has help our family pets for year 200% love this vet
