Apollo Panorama

This was the only place left with rooms in Apollo Bay and is was clear why!!! The view is pleasant but the rooms were not covid-19 cleaned, the furniture was disintegrating and there was hardly even running water. The kettle was FILTHY, air con patched up, fly screen broken. We paid a small fortune to stay here too. I have honestly never felt so RIPPED OFF. I genuinely think the owner knows she is doing it and just doesn't care too. DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU CAN POSSIBLY AVOID IT!!!

Cheap & cheerful accommodation for budget conscious people needing a clean bed & good shared ammenities.Located on the outskirts of town, it’s a bit of a walk to the Main Street.

If you are looking for a quiet hotel with a panoramic view of Apollo Bay, you cannot miss it. You can just sit on the deck chair to enjoy the sunset accompanied with bird’s singing and beer. Yoga for your heart.

Had a great view but room was small, no shower mat or rubbish bin.. shared kitchen lounge was spacious but floor was dirty. Also very noisy deck and doors if anyone walked anywhere.

View of this guesthouse is amazing! Our room is very clean, kitchen area and living room are both large, we had a wonderful time here. The staff Abby helped us a lot, she provided everything we needed. Recommend!

DO NOT STAY HERE: Booked a room with two single beds and arrived to find a double bed. Room was not clean, instructions were not clear and customer service was terrible. Not adequate accomodation, did not stay overnight, worst holiday accomodation I’ve ever experienced. Currently requesting full refund as we were forced to book last minute accomodation on the same night at a premium after host did not return calls or messages.

Very good! When you het there 1st time, you may confuse where it is. My car navigation took me to a wrong address. Google map works better.You drive approx 300 meter on unsealed road from the main road.I looked at full moon rise and sunrise. Please refer photos I uploaded.

WARNING please DO NOT STAY HERE!UNSAFE: we booked the queen room with sea view. There was no working lock or way to protect our belongings with direct access from our room to the communal area. The staff member Sofi told us to “definitely lock your door” when we checked in. Our lock was broken and when we asked if it could be fixed or we could move to another room, we were spoken to rudely and no apology was made.RUDE and BROKE in to our room: After talking to the manager and being told to find new accomodation at 6pm during peak season if we weren’t happy with the lock situation, we spoke to booking.com. They advised they would try to negotiate with the manager to get compensation for the unsafety and inconvenience caused - we stayed in our room for 4 hours after check in waiting for the situation to be sorted by the manager Tracy. She then cancelled our booking with NO communication to us directly. We suspect the room was cancelled because we requested the lock be fixed or given a replacement room, and she didn’t want us leaving a review on booking.com. She sent Sofi to our room at 9:45pm. Sofi banged on our door and opened it whilst we were in bed and yelled at us to get out ‘because (they’d) cancelled the booking’. She threatened us and yelled at us constantly before storming out to “call the police” and did not have any proper conversation with us apart from yelling at us to leave. We were shocked and scared and other guests were unfortunately disturbed by her commotion. We had to find new accomodation in the middle of the night during peak season because we did not feel safe to continue staying there.NO PRIVACY: Sofi broke in to our room whilst we were asleep. There is no lock on the door. The room window is on the deck where other guests walk in and out so you can’t leave the blinds open for privacy which also means you can’t eve enjoy the view.This is by far the worst accomodation we have ever stayed at. We were threatened, made to feel unsafe by the employees and had our booking cancelled on us (without notifying us first) at 10pm when we were already in bed. Never thought we’d have this experience so close to home (it was meant to be a romantic and quiet night away). Please do not stay here - it’s not worth the stress!!

Not a great stay for me. Really nice and friendly host so I wish I could give a better review, but....room not clean, shower was barely usable and I got a really bad room which had me sharing bathroom and stuck with some really noisy neighbours.Good location and great view of ocean from hilltop.

Absolutely amazing view of the hinterland, the ocean and Apollo Bay. The host was lovely and informative. Great kitchen and all the amenities you need. Unbeatable price and location. Would stay again.
