Just Cuts

DO NOT GO HERE. I went in for a quick trim which I specified on arrival. The male hairdresser held up his pinky finger and said is this much ok? I said yes. He then proceeded to cut three times more than I had asked for. 7 or so inches of hair which will take me a year and a half to grow back. All for a trim. I left in tears. He said he was ‘confused.’ If someone was confused you would think they would clarify with you before cutting off a significant amount of hair.

The lady who is trying to be so artistic with the scissors has no experience at all. she can not do a simple hair cut. I should have told the store owner that I don't want her to cut my hair (my fault).she cut my hair for the third time and this time was horrible. Had to cut my hair somewhere else again. Never repeat this bad experience . Good Bye Just Cut Northbridge.

I am having my haircut here for the last few years. The branch is a Family owned business, the lady in charge is very welcoming and helpful. All staff are professional hairstylists... very much recommended...

What a beyond disgusting experience! I went in for a haircut and this is how it turns out. I was told to sit and basically listen to him. Ok thanks but I’m getting scared at that stage. He says I need what he thinks I said my daughter is getting married and need a trim he shows me how much he wants to cut and I said no half that and that’s it. Before I know it he’s giving me a butcher’s special take it or leave it. He washed it and then said ok this is it shows the back however being wet you can’t see the huge damage that was done. I went home blow dry it and I have chunks cut out. I ring head office and was told they would call me back. Never mind I said I’ll go in. As I go in all the ladies were in shock and said sorry we can’t fix it but we can try and make a little difference. They were saying he needed to be sacked others were saying I remember her coming in yesterday what a mess he’s made. I was given a so called fix up and told in 4 weeks it should grow back. Mmmmm I don’t think so. I was given a voucher at a less amount for what I paid. Was not offered a refund. I called my lawyer and will be taking this to the next level as I need extensions for my hair to look good for my daughters wedding. They refused to pay for them. Don’t forget that it’s a butcher shop not a hair salon. Shame on you Just cuts you clearly have just no IDEA.

My husband has returned with no more than a large fringe (remember Tin Tin) after requesting a no. 4 off the sides & thinned out on top, he's got absolutely nothing like that, a buzz cut with fringe. I've been doing his hair during Covid lockdown and I'm no master but it looked good, NOT ANYMORE he looks DREADFUL after this haircut... DO NOT GO HERE & WATCH YOUR PHONE, WATCH THE HAIRDRESSER ISN'T DISTROYING YOUR LOOK!!!I'm so sorry to be writing this, I'm sure they are super busy & we're all grateful to be back at work, pls pls be careful.

Hit or miss depending on who you get. Most of the ladies are great and the stars I do have are all for them and the good experiences I've had in the past. But my most recent experience means I'll never go back. Worst experience I've ever had at a hairdressers. From the minute I walked in he couldn't seem to wait to get me out of there. As a result I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was both rough (in physical terms as well as the cut itself) and speedy, though they weren't particularly busy at the time I was there. I've had cuts here before when they've been busy that were quick, well done and efficient. I think I have whiplash (probably a slight over-exaggeration but the best analogy for what I'm feeling) from the wash/shampoo and I could feel my hair breaking repeatedly during the drying/combing. I feel like a coward for not speaking up while there, but to be honest I was a little afraid! Anyway, just had to share and I hope this helps others make informed decisions in the future.

Used to be very convenient to pop in for a hair cut. That has changed, being turned away for the 2nd time in a row today. This was the only selling point they had above other barbers.Will be going somewhere closer to where I live in future.
