Watsonia Compounding Pharmacy

The pharmacy retained my script without asking me (which has never happened to me at any pharmacy ever before), then when I realised I didn’t have the script four months later when I needed a refill I went back to the pharmacy to request my script back and they’d lost it. They reissued me the script which when I tried to use it at a different pharmacy they said they couldn’t take it because it was missing the part of it that the pharmacy had lost. I’m sure they would have known I couldn’t go anywhere else after they’d lost it - not sure why this wasn’t conveyed to me in the first place? Or better yet, why I wasn’t asked if they could keep my script in the first place? They also charged me full price on the first refill when I have a health care card even after I told them so (it’s on the script and I have the card) - really horrible experience, will not be returning.

The staff here are friendly and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello they made my visit comfortable in getting my cv injection

Love the team down there !! Never an issue or much of a wait with getting scripts filled or good advice (not to mention a friendly ear).

Always positive and helpful. Professional and able to answer my questions about the medication. Would highly recommend them.

I visited Watsonia Compounding Pharmacy today and they were incredible! They went above and beyond to help me and I am so thankful, can not recommend this Pharmacy enough. Thank you again

The staff member who helped me yesterday was very unprofessional, immature and insensitive. She laughed when I asked for something to treat something that was very personal and embarrassing for me to ask about, and she tried to laugh with the other employee but she had a bit more professionalism. She also mumbled when explaining how to use it so I could hardly hear her. I will never go here again.

Extremely bad experience with this chemist. The lead pharmacist there (I think so) was very unprofessional, cranky when providing me with the necessary information about the medicine. When I came there for the second time (as I could only find my medicine in compounding chemist) for the repeat, I informed that the previous medicine was just enough for 10 days for my son while it should have been for around 13 days and she blamed me for not taking the right measurement. I tried to explained that I did it carefully with the syringe they gave. And when I was there waiting for the next bottle to be prepared and heard she talked with the staff that I meant to blame them for cheating in the amount of medicine (without noticing that I was still there waiting). Then, one of the staff told her about my presence, she came and told me that I was not allowed to wait inside there. OMG!!! When the medicine was done, she told that the amount was fixed by the manufacturer and she just followed the instruction.Will never come here again.

Competent enough at dispensing medication etc, but appalling communication skills. Pharmacists are arrogant and condescending, and when they give poor information (such as saying that repeats are available ins child's medication when directly asked) blame the customer. There are other pharmacies that can compound in the area with staff that you can actually trust what they say; shop at them instead.

The staff were helpful and let me know the specifics of my script. They also committed to call when my compound script was ready.

Worst pharmacy in Melbourne. Don’t bother wasting your precious time, I have no idea how they even have a licence to trade.What a disgrace.
