My Mum taught me dressmaking from when I was old enough to stand next to her at her sewing machine. She imparted a love and awe of fabric and the special joy that only a button tin can bring.

Cathie provides a very profession, efficient and amazing quilting service. I cant praise her tremendous skill enough. I have had numerous quilts of all sizes quilted at Purple Bean and everyone of them have been of outstanding workmanship. She has a natural talent for colour and design and this shows in all her work. Her quick turnaround is also something rare in the quilting industry . I would recommend her to anyone.
