Had the piece of jewelry I was looking for. Some hoops to jump thru to get engraved. Did not appreciate that. Engraver needs to extend hours to suit customers. Some sideways looks from a staff member... perhaps late in the day. Was OK... just. They have potential, a little more accommodating would help.

If you need a battery replacement for your wrist watch, this shop is highly recommend cost $16.00 with 45 minutes wait time; could kill your time browsing their magnificent jewellery collection or pop over to Big W and Ned's for some retail therapy. :)Edited on Tuesday 2nd July 2019.Wristwatch Battery Replacement =$16.00.Wristwatch Strap Adjustments =$12.00.

Love this store! I’ve been going here for a few years now and always find what I’m looking for! Great shop for finding gifts with not only a large range of jewellery but plenty of other gift ideas at great prices. The staff always go out of their way for you and all of them are absolutely lovely to talk to! With so many changes happening around Gawler, it’s great to have a shop who still offers that old fashion friendly service!

I have only visited Brereton jewelers in Gawler twice, but swear I will never go there again, staff are rude and ignore you. If you need help to buy jewelry of any kind I would advise you to go anywhere but there.

Can't thank them enough. My wife got an infection in her ring finger causing it to swell badly. We popped into these guys and the jeweller neatly and painlessly cut both rings off in a couple of minutes, with no stress or fuss. The ladies at the counter were terrific and we will be back later to have them repaired.

This is a lovely shop, staff are very friendly and know their products. My husband buys charms for my Pandora bracelet and he gets helpful assistance from the staff. It's the only jewellers he'll go to ☺
