Before connecting with Alison I was determined to design our Renovation myself. You may know the feeling? After much scrolling on Insta and Pintrest, due to Melbourne's longest ever lockdown, I had finally decided on a Kitchen look despite not being able to visit showrooms. My stress level slowly began to rise as I hit the bathroom design.After a couple of sleepless nights, I found a connection with Alison's design work on Instagram and decided to look up her services 'just to see'. What really helped me take the step, was the 20 minute free, no obligation phone call. I am so glad I booked in after that for the 1.5 hour consultation! If you are on the edge of deciding to get professional advice, just do it. Alison was so lovely, inspiring, organised and professional. She requested I send her all my plans, sketches, inspo pics and burning questions before our consultation. She wanted to know my struggles. I was a bit worried that we could not have an onsite consultation to really get a feel for the place, so I sent a mountain of ideas and sketches to help paint the picture.The consultation was so good. Alison shared the screen on Zoom and we resolved all of my struggle points. The time was much more value than I first expected. We were even able to move into other areas of the reno which I didn't expect, due to Alison being super efficient, decisive and supportive. I now have a downloaded copy of our consultation to refer to as I need. If my budget allowed me to continue to engage Alison, I would not hesitate. I slept soundly after resolving so many design questions. Feeling very grateful.

I had my 1.5 hour session with Alison this afternoon and we accomplished more in that short time than with the other designer in 20 hours! Alison understood what I was hoping to achieve and made constructive suggestions for layout, finishes and fixtures. I feel like I have actually been scammed by the other designer after my session with Alison. Highly recommended.

Alison is so lovely and easy to talk to. Before our zoom meet I was a little overwhelmed with interiors and some design elements of a new build I'm about to start. With in the first few minutes of talking to Alison my mind was at ease and I knew I had chosen the right person to help me. Alison had my plans on the screen marking any design suggestions, making it very visual and easy to understand. Any fittings or finishes that we discussed were pulled up on screen and directly emailed to me. The video recording of the zoom meet gets emailed to you allowing you to really concentrate as no note taking necessary. I would highly recommend booking an appointment with Alison.

Alison was so lovely to work with! Very knowledgeable and helpful for our challenging space. We did an hour and a half walk through and got to talk through all our problem areas. Alison's astute eye in all things building and design make her a truly knowledgeable professional and an asset to any project.After months of working on our plans we needed fresh eyes to assist with a final few aspects. Alison gave absolutely fantastic advice for the interiors of my project. I was feeling confused and not confident particularly about our stone selection. Not only did Alison suggest a stone that is beautiful but much less expensive than what I had been looking at. Completely worth the investment. Alison saved me the cost of the consultation and more! After an initial design consultation, I decided to go ahead with a package of design hours for my renovation project in Albert Park. SO glad I did because Alison not only helped review my proposed floorplan, joinery, interior and landscape designs, she also helped me choose ALL of my finishes too!I was pleasantly surprised by how much we managed to get through and knock off together!! It was so good to have someone knowledgeable and experienced to bounce ideas off.I also love that, because she has done a number of renovations herself, she understands how to keep within my set budget.I was feeling a bit stressed out and lacking in confidence, but she has made me feel excited about my reno again. Would highly recommend for anyone at any stage of their renovation, new-build or re-styling project.

My consultation with Alison was everything I'd hoped for. Although I had a vision for everything, it was muddy and needed confidence. Alison seemed to get my style and helped bring it all together. She had samples to hand that she was able to assemble. I learned a lot on how things should tie together. My consultation with Alison was very much worth the investment. After using an interior designer for my plans (and having budget issues!) I was a bit apprehensive about spending more money on a design consult but I am so glad I did. In fact after an initial consult focused on the kitchen I engaged Alison for a second consult regarding the bathroom. I had been looking forward to renovating my house but found myself confused and lacking confidence. I really valued Alison’s collaborative approach. She understood my style and what I want to achieve, validated some of my ideas, whilst also offering pragmatic advice regarding my floor plan and finishes, and fresh solutions to some tricky areas. The process helped me to clarify my ideas, and has given me the confidence to move forward with my design choices.
