Save the Children - WA State Office
I went into STC op shop today and dropped of about 5 Bags of donations. I had some dresses in there with $200-$300 tags still on. Designer dresses. I felt good about doing something to help people less fortunate especially at this time of year.To hear the staff complaining in the back room that they were getting too many donations and just throwing a lot in the bin totally took my good feelings away.I’ve worked in an op shop so I do understand that you do get a lot of rubbish donated. But please don’t let your customers hear your comments.

Somebody seriously needs to audit this organisation.For nearly 2 years i have been contacting Save the Children to stop sending mail addressed to my son. I have been told the mail will automatically stop if they don't receive a reply or donation from three attempts. Wrong.I have now received over 60 letters from Save the Children seeking donations. Can you imagine how much money has been spent sending out these letters?
