Lake Alford Dog Park

A really clean well fenced space with nice grass and clean water bowl under the drinking tap. There are no agility obstacles, but there is plenty of room to run. Shaded seating areas are provided for humans to sit or throw toys from.

Located at Alford Park on the Southern entrance to Gympie. Wonderful off leash area. Sturdy fencing with safety gate entrance. Water available for dogs and people.Toilets in the children park area adjacent to dog park.Large grassy areas, safe for long runs. Ball throwing is a favourite game. The council have provided covered bench seats, for the visitors.Come and socialise your dog and make some new friends.Bags are available at the front entrance, for dog poop patrol.

Better since the council put signs up telling people Not to feed the birds etc bread because of the damage it does to the Wildlife etc.

Lovely dog park with shadey trees and undulations. A variety of seating and shade provided, along with all the dog-park basics such as a water station, a lock-off entry/exit area, poo-bags and a bin.We were there after a bit of rain so it was lush and green and ready for mowing.

Our fur boy loves this park! Always a friend coming or going to play with! Well maintained with nice, robust, up to date facilities. Easy, close car parking with human toilets & facilities nearby too. Good spot to stretch the legs if passing through too!

Good dog park…could benefit from bbq facilities so pets can enjoy events with family. It’s a bit small for large dogs.

This is a well shaded dog park.Its close to the playground at lake Alford.It has plenty of area for your fur child to run and explore and a few seats for the humans to gather on.There is nit much more there for the dogs tho. Just grass and trees. No equipment to entertain them on but as a stop over spot for travellers to get their kids out and toilets its great.Just dont forget to grab a bag and pick up after your child. There are bags provided at the catering entrance and bins there to to throw it all out before you head on your way.Be mind full of others fur children and how rough your child might play compared to others and their size.Its a good spot for the fur kids to stretch and play but could be better.
