I booked under the impression my service was a part of a $199 deal (a cut, full head of foils/balayage and other inclusions). After the appointment I was told it was $260. I was shocked but paid the bill and checked that the deal was still available. After seeing that the $199 offer was still available, I messaged Compliments on Facebook.The messages back I received were very unprofessional.I was told that the cost of my service was $250 (still overcharged me) and that because I didn’t mention the offer when I booked it didn’t apply. I questioned why the offer did not apply when it was 1) still available at that time 2) i had a service that was included in the deal, and 3) there was nothing that specified the offered needed to be mentioned when booking. They stopped replying to me.It isn’t much to ask for a $60 refund on a service, especially when that is the price that the service it is advertised for.

My niece had her hair done in the salon but the result is not good. She washed it after 24 hours and the colour on top part was gone. It seems like they just used temporary colour on root part. They even posted the outcome in Facebook, it looks very beautiful in the photo, but in person didn’t look like that. My niece contacted them but they’re giving too many excuses and asking her to pay again to fix when in fact they didn’t do it properly. They are even blaming my niece for washing it and saying it’s her fault. How come? Is it normal for hair colour to disappear when you wash it the next day? Are they not suppose to fix it without additional fee if they’re customer is not happy with the result instead of blaming their customer? They said they’re on package deal as well but my niece ended up paying more than the agreed price. How is that?She listened to your advice and she even told you she just used the product that she bought from your salon. You told her she damaged her hair again for washing it after 24hrs? How did that happened? She didn't say it was damaged again, she said the color on roots disappeared after washing the next day. So what kind of colour did you used to her hair? And now you are telling her you can't help her anymore because I left a review here. What a customer service, not even a single sorry for an unhappy customer and saying you won't apologise because you did not do anything wrong. Yeah its true, but make your customer at least happy with the result because they paid for it.

Now that my normal hair dresser has moved salons, I'm updating my review to reflect on the experience of the salon owner(s?) that occurred during my time.Previously mentioned, there was a type of afterpay system. To cut a long story short, an extra payment has been deducted earlier than usual, and was told that there was nothing to worry about and it'd stop automatically.Fast forward another fortnight, the same payment is deducted automatically. Was met with no empathy or compassion.It was honestly a terrible experience, and I will not be returning.
