Great work from the team at Landscape by Design! From initial plans all through to construction, they listened to our requirements and respected our budget. Special thanks go to Rob for the design and to Zane for his professionalism, passion and diligence in creating a truly fantastic back garden - his curved deck was inspired! Would highly recommend!

The all experience with Landscape By Design was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The garden which resulted from their work would be laughable if it wouldn't have cost us so much and will continue to cost us as we have to correct the mess they have created.First the communication was poor, being a FIFO, it was very hard to catch up with who ever was in charge (I am still very confused of who was taking decisions for us), trying to make them understand what we wanted was impossible, as our request were lost between the different intervenants. They were coming back to us with complicated written documents which were very difficult to understand for a non professional.Second, their ability to design garden is very limited, they have patterns which probably fit most gardens but as soon as you want something a bit different, they are totally out of depth and can't produce anything relevant. The only one who came with true ideas which fit us was Jasmine, unfortunately she disappeared early in the process.The quality of the work is poor. For instance the reticulation which was charged 3 times the price that the Watershed would have charged us and was supposed to be top of the range materials, is already broken (6 months after completion), with some stations not working and sprinkler constantly clogging. I had to fix 2 leaking pipes. Several of the plants have died and many looks sick despite myself watering them manually.In conclusion I don't want to hear anything any more from this company and engage anybody who is considering working with them to think twice before signing any contract.

We engaged LBD to design and install all landscaping, paving, retic, grass, limestone wall and fencing to our new home.Rob and Jasmine were great to work with during the design stage, coming up with a great design and problem solving our pool fencing issues.Zane did an amazing job managing all aspects of the huge installation. I appreciated his communication and attention to detail throughout the process.My husband and I are thrilled to bits with the end result.

I did my research quite well before I chose LBD and can't be any happier with their service. Specially, Zane, the supervisor was very friendly, listening to my ideas, last minute changes without hassle and very efficient.In few occasions, he rolled-up his sleeves and completed few tasked by himself to keep the project timeline intact. we were well informed and very reasonable variations upon requests.Very well planned and executed project, strongly recommend and will use their services again.

Landscape by Design managed a big design and reno of our backyard including installation of limestone garden and retaining walls, paving, turf and planting. They were professional, flexible, knowledgeable and brought high quality trades in. Special shout out to Zane who managed everything, Simon who did most of it and Tim and team for paving excellence.

I wish I’d had the same experience as others that have reviewed LBD but to date I haven’t. I’ve had very little contact that they have initiated, I’ve had to call, leave multiple messages and multiple emails with slow or no response. The pool company they work with has been awesome, paperwork submitted on time, communication on starting dates etc much better and I can recommend them. I’m still waiting weeks for LBD to follow up on planning approvals months after the contract was signed and may have the area finished a month after school starts up rather than by Christmas which I was led to believe, but knew that it was unlikely. I’ll hopefully be able to amend my review once the work is complete but thought given the good reviews listed that people should know it’s not all good.

We engaged Lanscape By Design to produce a design for our backyard, including the installation of a new pool. As we are on a corner block the back yard is triangle shape, with the angles causing massive issues during the design phase. Rob was fantastic in taking the key themes we wanted in our backyard and designed an amazing concept for Matt to produce. The project was quite large and lasted several months, with Matt, Rob and the team promptly responding well to any challenges that arose. The project was recently completed and we are thrilled with the results!

Great experience with Landscape by design for renovating my front yard.The team is great, easy to communicate, efficient and professional from design to accomplishment. For a person don’t have much ideas in landscape, they provide practical suggestions according to my requests. They also provide clear instructions what to do from my side, as well as updates on their progress.They also have follow up after the irrigating system has set up too!Thanks to Landscape By Design once again for everything! :)

From the very outset Jon was very easy to deal with. He was professional, patient, kind, understanding and true to his word. I was looking for someone to project manage my entire project and he took that stress away from me. I had an idea of what I wanted to achieve however needed someone to convert that to paper to see how it would look. Jon introduced me to designer Alicia who was able to bring my idea to life. They both listened to what I was after and was able to offer ideas and designs that would work. Unfortunately due to my own personal circumstances I was not able to proceed with my project at that time. I was nervous about breaking the news to them after all the work they had done. Jon was again professional, kind and empathetic. I would not hesitate to use the services of both Jon and Alicia again and would definitely recommend them.
