If you are looking to work in admin staff such as Finance, HR, IT, Operations, QA, Planning etc at this place, please look somewhere else. Very toxic people at the top, people buttering top mgt are given priorities, no direction, infected by not recognizing the knowledge\talent\loyal people and culture is very bad, for job its okay but for career\job satisfaction\respect, it's well below not okay" level. I can't fault how the people are given its a manufacturing industry but business being part of Coles

Once again, disappointed. I have no idea how HR management works around here but it definitely could be improved. With covid-19 going on right now, it is reasonable that the safety of all employees are in best interest of the company but I guess not. According to government regulations, close contacts of individuals who test positive are directed to self isolate for 14 days right?. Then tell me why is it that certain employees are forced to return to work when their isolation period isn't even complete yet. My relative asked if it was okay for him to return to work a couple of days later because he wants to get his second vaccination first but he was denied and forced to return to work. Not only that, but their instructions given to employees are extremely vague and leaves employees lost and confused. The company has had plenty of time to acknowledge the uncertainty and danger that covid-19 holds, so they have had well enough time to prepare for these circumstances. Unbelievable.

Poor Coles. This subsidiary's potential is being wasted by middle managers. The wrong people are being promoted or hired as manager simply because they are friends with a sitting manager in the company. Weak managers are hiring weak employees to protect their position, which makes the company even weaker.. There is a prominent culture of blame. If TOP management would only take the time to go around, talk to people on the floor, they would know what is actually happening and realise who the bullies and princesses are - managers who doesn't know what they are doing most of the time and doesn't add on to the position. Stop hiring people based on their conversation skills alone. Test them on actual technical and situational knowledge. HR should also be more pro-active in choosing a candidate instead of simply bowing to manager's choices. Bad culture is already deeply rooted within this company, but there is still time. If only the right people are given power to change things - people who care about their job and takes pride in the company and the part they play in it.

Social distancing is a joke at this place not taking seriously. They have huge lunch room next to the drivers room that is for drivers but staff use the drivers room instead to have their breaks in. Which most times means drivers can't use the drivers room. I brought to the attention of Coles staff only to be told to bad stand outside" not good Coles needs to fix this issue ASAP."

They are making my son wait an extra week to get paid because the lady who signs leave forms was away so that obviously means he doesn't get paid. This is after he took bereavement leave. He has contacted the fair work ombudsman and is looking for a new job

The management and HR are absolutely appalling. I am shocked at the audacity of their actions. They are inconsiderate of their staff member’s individual situations and they do not treat them humanely. No workplace should be like this. I am disappointed.

The most racist workplace in Sydney. People in HR departments have no respect and show no mercy to employees. When it comes to workplace rules and regulations, it is heaven but in reality, it’s absolutely disgusting! You will not get to the top unless you have connection.

Poor culture and staff - I previously worked here in a team leader role and there were staff and process workers constantly in tears. The bad egg is K- - - , she has no integrity, and will throw others under the bus for her own mistakes, safety has worsened since she was placed in charge.
