When my very expensive leather and suede items needed dry cleaning recently and they asked me to sign a waiver when I submitted them, I started to worry. Unnecessarily so in the end! I’m very pleased and so happy to have these beautiful garments back in rotation in my wardrobe of wearable clothes. A fantastic cleaning job - well done. Ok, not cheap, but worth doing well. Thanks ☺️

I am not one to write reviews (especially not negative ones). However, I have had an awful experience with this drycleaner and have had very little help from them in rectifying it (although I note they have now refunded the cost of the drycleaning alone upon request).I dropped my brand-new $800 suit in for dry cleaning, unworn, with the tags still on. It was for an incredibly important event the following week. When I picked it up, it was bagged up and ready to go. I paid and was on my way. When I got home, I realised that the suit had been destroyed. It was totally unwearable. Every inch of the suit and pants were covered in thousands of tiny elastane threads, noticeable from metres away.I then spent a week dealing with KC, who blamed the manufacturer. I was so upset and disappointed. They maintained that they had done nothing wrong, and that it had to have been a manufacturing defect.I wonder why, if that was in fact true, why they bagged the suit up and allowed me to pay for it. One would think that their staff would have raised it with me either at the time of the drycleaning or at the time of collection. I am appalled that their staff bagged it up, allowed us to pay for it, and handed it back to us without a peep. Again, one would think that if something had actually gone wrong that was in fact out of their control, they would be the first to raise it with us and discuss our options. This was deceptive and unacceptable.Either they did not notice it was ruined (which is a red flag in and of itself), or they thought I was stupid enough to not notice they had completely ruined my brand new suit.In support of their argument that it was a manufacturing flaw, they assured me that no other garment in the load was damaged. I wonder how they can be so sure, when they apparently did not notice that my garment was ruined beyond repair.I understand that mistakes happen. I can live with the fact that it is ruined, but I am upset at the way that this matter has been handled. I certainly won't be going back.Edit: KC’s reply is a plain and simple lie. They did NOT contact Lachlan “when the damage was noticed” as their comment below says - the email they reference was sent AFTER we had emailed them to complain about the damage, and after we had followed up with a further email, telephone calls, and a trip to their store. Again, treating their customers like they are stupid.

These guys are absolutely amazing. Saved me buying a new suit by fixing up some pretty bad stains the day before a wedding. Solid service and such a great price

What a delight. The Team here is wonderful. Great attention to detail and a great mending service. I have a whole series of out of the ordinary repairs and mending. Thank you. And I loved the details today with the buttons on this jacket covered with foil! Fab!

I want to bring this lingering issue to your notice.I submitted clothes for laundry when I quarantined at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane in January 2022, and they got missing.I was told by the hotel that your company (KC Dry Cleaning) was contracted by QLD Government for laundry and dry cleaning services.I have been in touch with Mark and the hotel on several occasions via emails and calls, and nobody really cared to do anything. It is over a year now and the most annoying thing is how the matter has been neglected by the hotel and KC Dry Cleaning Brisbane. Can someone look into this please?I am not willing to lose my precious clothes like this, and not even after all the negligence and frustration.

Poor reception service. I took seven garments for dry cleaning for the first time here and the lady at the counter refused to give me a price list, not even a rough estimate! Printed out a docket that had no details of clothes or prices, just “Unconfirmed” and a total amount $0. Did not explain why it was so. I asked what the price was for 7 garments and she said I would get a discount of 20% off the total price. And that total price remained a mystery; only said it would be “over $100”. Also repeatedly said she had “customers waiting” and I had to remind her that I was a customer too. I took my clothes back and found another dry cleaner not far from there, with a clear list of prices, good reception and a transparent receipt!

I have used this business twice now and have had issues on both occasions. I would like to state up front that on both occasions the staff were very nice and polite. However the outcome of my dry cleaning transaction have been incredibly costly. The first transaction was a number of items that I dropped off for my partner. One of which was an $800 Gucci silk scarf. The scarf was lost and never given back to us. Despite repeated attempts to find it and submitting a report to the manager. I have followed this up twice also but no response after weeks. I have since replaced the scarf but as a result I am out of pocket by $800.The second transaction was a twice worn Zimmerman dress which cost around $900. It came back with almost every button broken/lost. We were told that this was a manufacturing issue, however when we took it to Zimmerman they noted that the buttons were covered with foil and the dry cleaning instructions were to put in a bag. We are still waiting to hear back from Zimmerman formally however I don't have much hope in receiving any reimbursement for this item either based on my past experience.I must admit I thought that the idea of going to a dry cleaner was to take your high quality and valuable items and they will be taken care of, unfortunately this is not the case with this establishment. We are seeking a better quality alternative.

A little more expensive ($5.37/shirt laundered and pressed) but I don't need to touch up with an iron before wearing it. They are drive thru.
