Absolutely gorgeous spot. Great for snorkeling, hiking and fantastic place to watch the sunset. On one of the days we got to see 5 dolphins.

Beautiful area and well worth the visit. Some historical value to it as well. Great spot for the kids. Snorkel, paddle, fish and swim.

Cape Peron
Beautiful place. Has a busy little mobile coffee van that has a rustic look. Adds to the look of the place.

It's one of the most scenic coastline spots in the Metro area. Unfortunately the paths are badly damaged in many areas. And as I live local, I find the lack of a cycle or walk path to Pt Peron ridiculous. It is a very narrow road in parts, barely two cars wide with a very rough verge. Why is Shoalwater and Rockingham Beach not connected by pathway via Pt Peron? A major draw card to Rockingham and no pathway to get there. Unsafe for kids and families to ride there.

we went there during early evening to view sun set, it was beautiful and very windy. You can even enjoy there with little picnic with you loved ones. You can chooses various points to view and it’s well managed path ways.you can choose to walk up to little hill like light house to sit and view sun set. However, I could not see any signs posted for toilets and covered places to sit.

I love visiting here with my young sons. There's parking available, walking trails, along with the stunning beaches. There's gorgeous limestone cliffs, great snorkelling and swimming and lots to explore. Such a beautiful place, though be prepared for the wind! As the name suggests, it is a Cape so most of the area is exposed to the winds, but it is still worth a visit.
