Holy cow! Low key, friendly service but the slow cooked ribs are the BEST I have had in Australia! Soft, smokey & juicy with flavoursome sides. MUST try if you’re in the area!!

This place is a bit hidden but worth the stop. If your travelling north you will need to cross the overpass to get to it on the south side of the highway but don't be deterred by that cause you will not be disappointed, if your travelling south then it's a breeze. It is right next to SUBWAY. The meals are generous and full of that classic BBQ flavour. The staff are very friendly and happy to help you with your meal. This place is definatly NOT vegan or vegetarian friendly. The chicken lollipops where a standout with my meal along with the brisket and ribs. We need more places like this cause this food is excellent.

This was seriously good food. The rib plate had pork and beef ribs and the meat was melt in your mouth with great flavour. The sides were also delicious. The brisket in the tacos was also very nice. You can wash it all down with an ice cold Texas tea. Very friendly service and a good feed for the price. Definitely worth a try.

This is the most awesomely authentic Texas barbq you will ever find. It is owned by a real Texan and his food is better even than what we had in Texas. The meat is moust and tender and the sides are delicious....especially the mac n cheese. Highly recommend.

Failed short of expectation, nothing great but owners were nice. Meats served cold, dry, tough and rubbery...need more cooking and flavour. Given the provided wooden utensils you'll definitely break it cutting the meat! For the quality of food served its expensive!

The BEST TASTING CHICKEN EVER. The sides are great too.Would be EXCELLENT for weddings, parties, any event.Just happened on them on our way home from 2 months travel to Broome and back.Give this new business a try!They do other meats too.Your taste buds will THANK YOU!Great price too.

OMG, so very good. Had the ribs and chicken mixed plate (they'd just sold out of brisket). What great value! Meat and chicken so tender and tasty, sides also very tasty ... all for $15 shared by 2 with plenty to go round ... and a free tasting of cobbler to finish. Yum. Will definitely be back to try the brisket, soon!

Well done Tex and Liv. Melt-in-your-brisket beef ribs with beautiful sauce. Amazing flavoured chicken. Well worth the trip up from Brisbane to devour the food. Made some new friends over dinner.
