Amcal+ Pharmacy Nambour

I went in to Amcal Nambour today. They were under the pump… people everywhere. I was there because of a miscommunication of sorts, which may not have been the Chemists fault.The staff went out of their way, were professional, and just lovely despite the fact that I did present as an inconvenience on a really busy day and probably shouldn’t have been there.I was truly blown away by the generosity to accommodate and the ability to handle so many enquiries so efficiently without making anyone feel like a number.I’d highly recommend this business for your patronage.

Check what you are charged before making payment. My product was $13.95, however I was charged $35.95. I queried the price and I was told it was because it was not a script product. I paid cash, however when I was in my car I looked at the product and the price showed $13.95. I went back to the pharmacy and was told it was an error in the system. After some time I was refunded the $22 I over paid. I later checked on line and the price from Chemist Warehouse is $7.95! I certainly will not be returning to this pharmacy.

Came here for my booster jab at 4:15 (05/04/2022) and the male doctor(maybe he is not a doctor because i never seen a doctor with that kind of negative attitude) was so rude and unprofessional, he was acting like he doesn’t want to serve anybody.Lucky for me he then pass me over to the Japanese nurse/doctor who was very nice and helpful

Prone to ageism and discrimination based on their opinions of customers, half the staff are highly disrespectful and almost threatening in demeanour. Incapable of owning up to mistakes on dates and scripts filled and when they were distributed instead going as far as to blame the customers and willingly acknowledge to make life even more difficult for anyone involved.. Great degree of incompetent and bias attitude. I would advice anyone that uses this distributing pharmacist to find a more reputably staffed pharmacy as my experience on numerous occasions with this branch has been one of disappointment and dismissive behaviours. Very unprofessional and argumentative.. truly disgraceful.. staff need to be retrained in ethical behaviour or dismissed.. such a disappointment..___________________________________________Edited note; I don't expect nor appreciate a response to this review because from the other reviews I've read on this location it seems it would be a biased view only seeking to uplift this stores reputation to where its unsuitably not to be acknowledged and/or a dismissive and disrespectful retaliation to being reviewed poorly in a feeble attempt at contrition that from what I've read is equally as disrespectful as the general behaviours that seem to be standardised by this location.For the disillusioned, feel free to continue pretending the store is worth using.For the enlightened, find somewhere that treats its clientele with the appropriate respect and value that customers deserve as a pose to dismissively using a store whose ethical treatment is abysmal and one sided for its own monetary gain.

Rude and unhelpful. Had a valid IN DATE script (which had FOUR repeats left on it) for a friend that I was to fill for her because she had been calling around her locale with no luck at finding that scrip in stock. Now I search my areas and after two chemists telling me they were out, I find that Amcal Nambour HAS this medication that is for a congenital medial condition IN STOCK. The chemist however REFUSED to take the script, claiming that it needed to be a new script dated from the 1st of September. Ridiculous. No apologies. Just cold indifference. Heartless. No explanation on why. Just that it couldn’t be done.

Very rude, will not be getting my scripts filled there again! I am angry about the way I was spoken to... I was embarrassed for the assistant behind the counter because of the way the chemist spoke to her as well.

I changed pharmacies to use Amcal Anne st,fast service, excellent customer services,wide range of products and easily accessible in the Nambour plaza,I often consult with the pharmacists on my medication for trusted advice,also wide range of orthopaedic shoes and products for the elderly of which I am one

Terrible pharmacists, judgemental and rude, unfortunately you didn’t study to become a doctor, please don’t try act like you have doctors authority

I was booked in for a test and got called approximately 20 minutes before my test to say they had no test strips and had to reschedule.
