Friendly Grocer Deception Bay

They have the shortest opening hours for takeaway food I have seen, and today, closing at 6, no hot food after 4.40pm. I won't bother again.

The burgers here are amazing. The staff are really friendly, too; They always offer great service here.

Great little store. I can usually find those last min items I've forgotten from the big supermarket. Really enjoy their burgers, chips could probably do with a little less salt. But honestly other than that I've always had a great experience.

Love this store. Has very nice food. Loved the burger and fish and chips. Can get lotto and bread and milk. Service is generally very good.

Since opening in Deception Bay the Friendly Grocer has uplifted the local retail experience!Set within the local Zammitt Street shopping precinct the store offers outdoor eating and is within access to other services including a pharmacy, hairdresser, 24 hour laundry and a medical centre.Their range of take-away food is second to none in the local area. Tradies, locals and residents are constantly streaming in and out of the store. Their hot chips with chicken seasoning is perfectly balanced and barista coffee is a godsend for those early morning caffeine lows!A great general grocery store for those essential household items you may have run out of all at reasonable prices.The icing on the cake are the staff. A genuine sincere friendly greeting and a chat from all the staff exemplifies the great local customer service culture rarely seen elswhere!Well done Friendly Grocer at Deception Bay!We love you being here and being part of our community!

This is the sort of place that you would tell your friends about. It still is but for the wrong reasons now. Never any hot food at lunchtime any more unless you have the time to wait for it to be cooked fresh. Well worth the wait but unfortunately my 30 minute lunch break isn't long enough. I did try to call to order in advance but no one answers the phone.

Ordered a fish burger and a chicken schnitzel burger - both were extremely greasy. The fish had no flavour and the chicken was clearly processed and also of low quality.

Great staff I had a long hard day at work decided to grab fish and chips chips fantastic but the fish it was off never again
