Chicken and Dumpling Greenacres

It was best Korean chicken place for me. I’ve ordered too many times here. But I’ve ordered spring onion chicken today and there are no spring onions when i checked in a car. So i go back to get it and it was okay at that time. but when i checked again in a house just small small small spring onions inside and i was so disappointed. It was very bad experience.

Great portion. Good service.However, I was disappointed as the chicken was a bit overcooked and the rice cakes were undercooked? Not chewy, they went al dente….?!

No Dine-in option, takeaway only.Great Korean chicken, and both the steamed and fried dumplings are definitely the star hero on the menu.Spicy means spicy here, the Tteokbokki (떡볶이) rice cakes have a nice chewy texture and the fish cakes softly melt in your mouth! The fried chicken has a nice extra crunch if you can make it home quick enough without it getting soggy.

Well. I can’t even add photos here for the time being, because we ate it all - I mean, literally every skerrick! This Korean food place is definitely just a takeaway but that’s where that definition ends. I had read good things about this place (thanks, Google Maps!) and even though we haven’t had a good run with takeaway food joints outside of Pizza parlours, decided one night to go ahead and risk ordering from there. I’d wanted to try Korean fried chicken, so we got: Kim Chi Jjim - braised pork belly with pickled mustard greens, Japche - stir fried beef with veges and our favourite sweet potato noodles and the almost ubiquitous by now, Korean Fried Chicken. Yum. They gave pickled turnip, shredded cabbage salad with hot sauce, Kim Chi and rice for the side too. So good and the lot came to just under $50 for three people who were quite pleasantly full afterwards . Best takeaway food. And for the price and quality, I would say a bargain too! It was all cooked perfectly and just delicious.The other thing is that you get the option of boned or filleted chicken for the fried chicken, which comes with a variety of different seasonings. We had Sweet, Spicy which was wildly tasty. But there are many different versions of their fried chicken - even with cheese.Really, if you like spicy, Asian food - the little, local takeaway at Greenacres: ‘Chicken and Dumplings’ (handmade), does not let you down. I had nothing left for photos and no time to take any photos at the start! Yum and double yum. There are so many other dishes I want to try there, still too - including their Japche tofu: Spicy, stir fried tofu, veges and sweet potato noodles. It’s really good tasting.The Korean style fried chicken is nice.Different flavors can choose.The rice cake is chewy and delicious.Also, the pickled vegetables they give for free is good with chicken.I’ll recommend here.Only take away in here.

Blew our minds and taste buds the first time we had it (Y), Definitely the best dumplings nearby, but the 4 stars and not 5 because of the fried chicken. Like mentioned, it really did felt really tasty in the beginning when we ordered the Mala chicken, but we ordered the spicy chicken the next time to try another flavor, but it was literally the same taste without any change of flavors. I feel all the spicy chicken range of dumplings and chicken has the exact same taste. Its really tasty but all im saying is there is no change of flavours in the spicy range. Will definitely go back for more items in their menu. Thanks Guys <3

Since moved to Adelaide, here is the best KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) so far. They have the best chicken, crunchy and yummmyyyy. We always ordered for take away the spicy chicken and the snowy cheese. Also the good thing is they mixed the fried chicken with fried tteokbokki. BESSTTTT. The customer service also really good.

Such a great takeaway for Korean food! If only we could dine in so that there's lesser potential of it being soggy by the time the food travels home.Still crispy fried chicken, snowy cheese was really good with a bit of Soy dressing. Supreme chicken as well with the melted cheese topping. The spicy sauce chicken was also good. Garlic Soy is self explanatory. Dumplings were deep fried to perfection. Thin layer of crispy skin with generous tender meat filling. Pork and beef is delicious. Teokbokki was spicy but it doesn't linger, thick sauce, the fish cakes were tasty and the cheese went so well to top it off. Kimchi pancake was tasty and thin. Maybe bit overdone, and not as crispy as I thought.. Black bean jajeong noodles were packed separately, which was a great idea. Seafood amount was decent and its really saucey, bit salty. But tasty still

Simply the best fried chicken in town, both in term of the flavour and the price. Highly recommend as you won’t find a more delicious deal

I ordered steam chicken dumpling and berry spicy chicken. Both were very good.
