Lovely place but sadly there is now a big sign saying that camping is forbidden and the area is blocked on purpose.

Great rest stop for one night if you are tired. Not a long stop camping area. You will be fined $200 if you stay more than one night. It is monitored daily and you may be woken up by a ranger at 6:30am for a warning.

Really only for camper vans and such. Not for tents. Good place for a free overnight stay tho! It was quite packed by the time we got there around 7pm on a long weekend.

Great o/n safe popular free camp. One of the only freecamps in the area. No facilities ... Unfortunately it attracts the odd grubby backpackers who cant clean up after themselves
