Seat are better in general administration. Stand are tight packed as a standby but in Darwin it’s to hot for that. Also not enough screens for games to watch cross field action

Line up to get in (to be expected really). The scanner didn't work on my e-ticket but they sorted it out without much fuss. Clean and tidy. Extra food/drink tents set up to deal with demand. Plenty of space to on grounds to take a break from the crowds. Family friendly zone is good but far away from field and couldn't see in some areas due to sinage on the fence, but easy enough to go up to the fence during exciting periods. No alcohol allowed in family zone- not signposted. Felt obliged to skull down our drinks so we could move on. Would have finished them before or not started drinking if we knew! Not a big deal though. Felt safe.

Plenty of parking, short lines for major events. A great variety of hot food available, cold drinks and alcohol. Disabled access and plenty of facilities in good clean condition.

I’m only sharing details of my experience of the last two AFL matches I’ve been to. My first NT AFL experience was last year Suns v Hawks. What a disgrace. Indigenous people drunk and arguing everywhere. Stood 10ft away from a full on fist fight which saw 2 people hospitalised and included 2 guys stomping on an unconscious persons head, yet there was no security and police took at least 10 mins to arrive. Families with children were literally walking past. Anyway this year I thought I’d buy the $250ea McMhanons stand tickets to avoid this behaviour that Darwin is all to used too. There were exactly 13 tables, each with 2 stools for the 120 or so people that bought tickets. The 3hr food package consisted of microwaved sausage rolls and fridge cold sliders. The 3hr drink package started at 7pm and at 9.15 we were told the bar was closed with a full quarter of football to go. 75% of the tables and chairs were taken by a closed off group of approx 30 people, which after many complaints they tried to mitigate by bringing out plastic chairs. In summary I don’t know who organises this joke, but the AFL, the NTFL and TIO stadium all need to do MUCH better.

Didn't get into the main stadium but watched my team on the pitch next to itThey had some permanent shade spots and stands but you need to get there early to get a seat under oneMost people just brought their own camping chairs and the unofficial uniform of yeti drinking bottleYou can access the cafe and toilets at the main stadium close and lines move quickNo hot food available by the time I got there but they had chips and and ice cream stand
