Put in an application for 3/8myora crescent capalaba and was not told that there is a there is an internal door in the property that leads directly into the property next door that is not allowed to be locked so no security for the tenants.Unbelievably misleading thank goodness we never got as far as signing a lease. Not very homest and upfront.

Hi Trevor. I also experienced so many ridiculous issues with this real estate. Hilarious Paul that you keep trying to wipe your negative reviews by making new pages.They charge you for your electricity usage personally, and don't give you a bill to see.They rent out properties into 3rds and charge electricity as one lot. And as mentioned below, your neighbours can access your propertyThey are never contactable either, on the phone or in person.They threaten you, abuse you, refuse to submit a bond refund.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!The principle of the company Paul McManus is an idiot, do a google search for him and you'll see the sort of rubbish he does.Iapproved's old Google page had an insane number of negative reviews. It's a good thing I check every now and then to read the new negative reviews :)

Paul has closed down the old Iapproved Google reveiws and changed the name to F planning to hide the negative amount or reveiws left for his bussiness. Very dishonourable and devious move mate.Please reconsider buying, renting, or having anything to do with this crooked company.Here's a copy and past of my reveiws on the closed page guys.(Iapproved is a very dishonest and unreliable company. Rented a property through them for a year, all electricity statements for the first 9 months seemed reasonable. Then once I had ended my lease they decided to send me a invoice with an electricity bill of over $1000 dollars being the only tenant living there. I've refused to pay the amount and will deal with the situation.)

Wish I had read the reviews before renting with Iapproved.Paul is extremely aggressive and unreasonable in how he communicates.I received my property in disgusting condition and would be concerned as an owner having them manage my property.

Rents out illegally subdivided properties with awful accommodation. I was literally 12 hours out from a hearing with iApproved and QCAT before they finally called to give us our bond back. They'll keep all your bond if you don't deal directly with the bond agency and will claim everything back for themselves. Even when the only damage to the property was from the previous tenant killing himself (found out in the last few weeks of our lease, woo!). Run away as fast as you can from this mob.

Just moved down from my home town to Brisbane with my other half and went through iapproved for our first rental.They were very professional, communicated excellently and were very accommodating to us answering any and all queries. They were very quick to action maintenance requests to the point where I had tradesmen coming to rectify issues within hours of the request.Our property manger was Brooke Coonan and she was genuinely amazing and looked after us beyond all expectations, as mentioned above she was always on top of all queries and maintenance requests.They completed our exit inspection on the same day we handed our keys back and processed our bond back to us by the next day.I definitely recommend this agency and Brooke in particular as well, would love to rent through them again in the future.

Would rate 0/0. Had the worst experience renting with them last year. Paul is a scumbag and definitely uses threatening tactics if he doesn't get his way. Completely agree with other reviews here. Hoodwinked into a share accomodation. Completely unprofessional. They were under investigation by the council (not sure if they still are), and came to our door many times to talk about the property, lease and other standards Paul had broken. He also threatened to blacklist our neighbours when they wrote a bad review online about them (now changed to f planning). They were responsible for mowing the lawn and they never did. electricity rates are completely criminal. They just make up some random number- when asking for proof from the electricity company- paul completely avoids giving you the receipt and it took me over 5+ emails to get him to send us an invoice from origin. Which basically showed nothing. He then refused to get the lawn mowed until we paid for the electricity which was a ridiculous number for 2 people living in a tiny little unit. We told him we had snakes in the yard and we were worried about our dog and he basically said 'if you pay the electricity bill we can do things like mow the lawn so you can live more comfortably' (as if it's not in the lease and its a luxury). GET AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE ASAP. Real quick to take your money - they are slow on everything else.

My partner and I just made the move from our home town down to Brisbane and our first rental was from this agency.I cannot praise them enough for how accommodating and professional they were towards us. Brooke Coonan was our property manager and she was BEYOND amazing. She's an absolute asset to the business; such a lovely person who genuinely cares about her clients.Any issues we had, Brooke was on it straight away. Maintenance was carried out extremely quickly and took minimal effort to organise.Even our exit to the property was easy and well supported. Our bond was returned in full almost straight away after the exit inspection.In short, I 100% recommend this agency, specifically Brooke Coonan (even our cat loved her!).

If I could give 0 stars I would. As a realestate agent myself, I thought I would be the last person to get ripped off. Well Paul McManus has done a wonderful job as a professional fraud. Advertised a property with air conditioning, and for the full term of the lease it was broken. Complete lack of communication, they will ignore all your emails.He removed the lock from my door a month into my tenancy, allowing the neighbors to walk through when they like. He refused to compensate even a weeks rent for being without aircon for my entire lease. Tried to charge me for someone else’s electricity. Installed faulty smoke alarms and tried to charge me for removing this as it would not stop beeping and the silence button would t work. Entered the property without notice multiple times. Absolutely disgusting attitude towards tenants. Will be reporting him to ACCC and encourage all of you who have been robbed by this idiot to do the same.IF YOU ARE AN INVESTOR, STEER CLEAR. You’d be better off renting it out yourself. His team are unprofessional, rude and fraudulent.You’ve been warned.

Do not rent through this real estate. Houses are sub standard, electricity supply if weak and faulty, and they are under investigation by the local council for over 30 Properties. My bond wasn’t lodged, and I was hoodwinked into a “share accomodation” lease. Doors between units don’t lock. Many many issues and problems with specifically Paul. They even lost my lease. I’m trying to secure more housing and Paul refuses to forward my perfect Rental ledger to new real estates. Just a rip off scum bag praying on the vulnerable.
