Very fun climb. 360° views of the whole scenic rim from the top. Go in the cooler months for viewing clarity.

Love this hike. Awesome 90 minute workout up to the top, jelly legs by the time you're at the bottom, with 360º views!

There are orange triangle signs to show the route, but these are not clear at some area. Spectacular views from the top!

Absolutely live this Mtn....The tourist track is a little worn now but still well worth the epic views. West Ridge route don't do unless you know where you are going...its very overgrown.

Love everything about Mt Maroon. Only disappointed last time we were there that the 'Cairn' has been knocked down. My friends sisters ashes and lots of other peoples momento's are gone. Very sad but will work on rebuilding

Great, semi-difficult climb. Quite steep most of the way with some rock scrambling up the gully. Beautiful 360 degree views out to Mt Barney. Approx 4 hour return - 2 hrs up with plenty of rest stops.

One of our best hikes ever! Easy to get lost! So take a torch if your going up or coming down late. But a beautiful climb in a remote and quiet area with one of the best views at the top ever!!
