We hadn’t been here before and decided to try it out when it popped up on Google. So glad we did! The food was amazing - hearty portions without being overwhelming, friendly staff and great ambience. We’ll definitely be back.

The woodfire bread is better than Totti's. By a country mile. I eat here very regularly, and the food never disappoints. Please bring back the Amatriciana pasta. That was my favourite. Staff are very friendly and really look after you. Wine list is lit, with many good options. Courtyards are cute.

A 150+ year old pub that serves amazing Italian food and is dog friendly? Can only be in Sydney!A great pub to visit for any occasion, the Camelia Grove has an indoor pub and restaurant area with screens for watching sports, and an outdoor beer garden with heaters, that’s dog friendly. They have a good choice of beer and wines and serve delicious Italian food! The pizzas are traditional wood fired, Italian style pizzas and the pastas are freshly made. They have a nice selection of antipasti with items such as freshly made focaccia, delicious burrata and a generous antipasti plate. If you’re looking for a parmi or a pub steak, there are plenty of venues serving that. If you’re after amazing Italian food, in a cozy pub that you can bring your furry friend to, choose the Camelia Grove!

A truly great inner-city pub. Fantastic food, excellent service, and great vibe. The boss there, Phil, was a fantastic host…looking forward to coming back!

A really lovely atmosphere, the food is of a high authentic standard where you know the chefs care. The variety of offerings is great. The only downfall is the wait staff. While they are friendly, they aren't attentive and appear to lack caring and energy that this jewel of a place deserves.

Came here as part of a photography course, they used the back room for some modelling shots in the morning and we had pizza for lunch - and oh my, been looking for somewhere that made good pizzas since Renzo's and Johnny Gio's closed down in Tempe/Newtown.Came back today with my partner to grab one of their delicious pizzas again and they enjoyed the Sunday Roast which was Porchetta this week, soft, juicy and crispy crackling.

Fantastic pizzas. Worth driving across the Bridge for it. The tagliolini marinara was also terrific. The menu mentioned prawns and calamari in the pasta but there wasn't in my dish, but the juicy sweet mussels and very generous serving of fish fillets more than made up for it. Service from wait staff was excellent. Water on the table as soon as we sat down (so many restaurants don't get this right) and food arrived within reasonable time. Nice setting, warm ambience, and price is very reasonable. This is our first time here but will definitely return.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are so fun and really friendly. They are always efficient, happy and polite. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is amazing, beautiful Italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. The meats, cheeses, pizza's and pastas are a must do - never had a meal I haven't enjoyed here. The décor really transport you to the Mediterranean. Perfect for afternoon casual drinks in the sun!I have now had 4 large group events at Camelia and the staff never cease to go above and beyond to accommodate. Whether we sit in the restuarant or either of the outdoor areas, the birthdays have been special times thanks to the treatment from the team here. Everyone has always walked away with a smile and look forward to coming back. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a homely Italian style bistro meal and a spritz in the outdoor area!

We went for a group dinner and were seated in the courtyard. The food was quite good especially the pizzas, staff were good but not around frequently enough to order drinks, courtyard was cold could have had more heaters.Overall: Decent Italian food, especially by pub standards, not expensive, pretty good place.
