Nelson Park Playground
Lovely large playground suitable for kids of all ages and it is FENCED! This is a fantastic touch for us with younger kids - adults can sit and watch the children safely play. There is a beautiful duck pond and lots of dogs going for walks (leashed) as well as a bbq area.

Great park. Massive play area, completely fenced off. 2 BBQs. 3 sets of tables with gazebos above them. Public toilets. Fantastic for kids.

Fantastic park for the really little ones (1-3yo) because they CAN climb up the structures without any problem. Fully fenced. Shade. Grass. Great spot.

This playground is great for little kids fully fenced with lots of things to climb on and let there imagination run wild. It also comes equipped with two bbqs, sun shade and 4 undercover gazebos. Also located right next to the Alex community garden where you can teach kids how to grow vegetables and the bird life is great. Please remember to only feed the birds with rice or old peas and corn and not bread as this is closer to there natural diet. Have fun and I hope you enjoy this park.

A great playground with BBQs and a lovely walk around the lake. Lots of birds, a little island with a gazebo shelter, and a sculpture to look at
