Horse & Jockey Hotel

We have been for dinner at the H&J many times over the last few months and it’s always a truly fantastic experience. Wonderful service from the moment we walk in the door to the moment we leave. The food is always absolutely delicious. Best reef and beef in town!

The team at the pub are amazing, friendly and so positive! My stay here has been nothing but 10/10 the food is great as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stay or a nice drink. The team at the BWS next door are extremely helpful and friendly. Over all experience 10/10 would recommend !!

Friendly service but waited 2 hours for dinner to find out they forgot to let the kitchen know my table number. Ordered rare steak, they reheated dinner in microwave and served steak with medium flag. I was tied and hungry, so I ate a meal that should have gone to the dogs. The room was nothing special, just reaching 3 star accommodation.

Had lunch here and it was very good. The bar staff are very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend in coming here. Love it

Tonight I had the homemade lamb curry. Tasted really nice but there was only 5 pieces of meat and rice and the sauce. For $30 it was a total ripoff. Won’t be going for dinner there for a long time.

In particular, one staff member, Todd, stood out with their attentive, friendly, and professional service. They effortlessly attended to every detail, anticipating our needs before we even had to voice them. Their knowledge about the drinks and food on offer was impressive, making our choices easier and definitely more satisfying. It's clear that Todd loves what they do, and their enthusiasm was infectious, adding a unique spark to our evening.When you visit Horse and Jockey, you're not just visiting a pub. You're becoming part of a community that appreciates good food, excellent drinks, and a memorable experience. I cannot recommend Horse and Jockey enough for both locals and visitors looking for an unforgettable pub experience. Had dinner & drinks for a work event and I was so greatful for the excellent customer service. Hats off to all the staff & management. They were very accommodating with my dietary requirements(plant-based) and they specially made me such a tasty dish!... Felt very spoilt! Thanks heaps. Highly recommend.
