I was so impressed with the outcome of my wild, curly hair!I asked for a change, an updated style, colour correction/ new colour; after years of neglect, home dyes and chopping bits off myself!Kaylee was so understanding & knowledgeable. After a consultation, I knew I could trust her to do something amazing & in line with what I wanted.OMG! I have never been this happy with the result after seeing any hairdresser..ever!Thank you Kaylee! :DTo top it all off, the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, nibbles & drinks offered, friendly staff & other clients!Such a great experience - highly recommend.

In all my trips to a hairdresser I’ve never had anyone show care in the way Kaylee did. I’ve always had long, thick hair but it’s always been somewhat frizzy and unruly. I go for a cut every 18 months or so with no real commitment to a particular hairdresser or salon. My experiences have always been asking what I want done, doing that (or their interpretation) and that’s it.I booked in right after lockdown for a restyle. When I arrived the service was excellent. It was a friendly and welcoming place and all smiling faces. Kaylee took the time to listen to what I wanted, explain how much that was going to take off and double check she was on the same page with what I wanted. During the appointment Kaylee asked some questions about my hair and products I use. Kaylee told me my hair was dry and I had a fair bit of breakage and damage from wearing my hair up all the time. I said I’ve never known what to do to have healthy, tame and manageable hair. Well! That’s was it! Kaylee was in action! She showed me the products she would recommend and most importantly the best way to use them. She also introduced me to the Steampod. I was hesitant on the products, but Kaylee wrote them down for me and said they have them in stock or I can find them elsewhere.About a week later I bought the products recommended and used them as instructed. I also got the Steampod not long ago as well. I stopped using hair ties and introduced clips instead. My hair is completely changed! My hair is smooth, healthy, shiny and tame. I get regular compliments on my hair and how amazing it looks and I’ve never had that before.I am 100% sold on The Bar. I won’t go anywhere else now. I’m so happy with my hair and the change I’ve had in only a couple months and all because someone is passionate about hair and took their time to explain it all and make it easy.

Absolutely fantastic salon Alex and all the staff very friendly and talented. I just love my new color and style .

Such an amazing salon. Alix and Kaylee were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The service and professionalism is next level. Not only did the ladies make me look like a million dollars, they made me feel like it aswell. From start to finish, an absolute delight. Highly recommend.
