The Family Hotel
It's in the name that is true to what this place stands for. Upon entering this wonderful establishment, I was greeted by the very cheerful staff. I secured my place at the bar for the evening and enjoyed friendly chats with the bar staff in between their very busy sessions of patrons orders. The atmosphere was vibrant and the patrons were very friendly. Thank you Jess, Annabelle and Abigail, I hope to see you when I return 2019. PS- Getting myself a clam shell punch nek time.

A great little hotel for something different!!!Good beer selection of well known brews to obscure imports, plus a fabulous menu which caters for all.There's no pokies anywhere to be seen, so having a conversation with man's best friend is in order, because you can bring your dog along...what's crazier...playing pokies or talking to your dog?!?!Variety of specials racked up daily from the kitchen and bar, plus a weekly dose of trivia and special music nights to entertain.Well worth the visit if you're in the area.A wonderful place to relax with a brew and your pooch.

A fun and vibrant pub. Pub food is fresh and tasty. Some independent craft beers but no locals. Music bingo on Wednesday nights very entertaining.

Great relaxed atmosphere with quality pub food. They often have quirky and original specials. Photos attached of the macncheese chicken burger and the HSP hot dog that were the specials a while go.I'll often duck in here for lunch when I have work appointments in the area and the food has always been well priced, fast and delicious. The big bonus is you're allowed to bring your dog in for lunch or dinner. Makes it super handy when you're visiting Newy and don't want to leave the dog behind or want to stop for an easy dinner after visiting Horseshoe Beach.

A place that has a groovy, quirky and down right cool bar.This place also sells the most delicious plant based food while always allowing dogs come in.What a place !Highly recommend for a hangout place

A local establishment, The Family Hotel serves reliable, decent food and a bewildering array of alcohols in more combinations than you can shake a stick at.The atmosphere does trend heavily towards being for students, but it's a lively place with positive energy, though the tables seem to be perpetually sticky.

Great old school pub with pool comp, great beers, good food.. garlic rosemary gravy is awesome!! Friendly staff and plenty of room.. recommended
