Breathtaking garden and vibe!! Cottage was clean, comfortable and had all amenities we needed. A perfect getaway for our family. Owners are lovely people. I would love to visit again.

Love this place. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bright this is a wonderful and picturesque place to stay in autumn. We are here every year for Easter.

John and Anne were lovely and went the extra mile, playing with our son. Accommodation was amazing, the gardens were pristine, beautiful walking trails right at the front door, can walk to all of the pubs/restaurants in harrietville. The ovens river passes through the property. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to all.

We had a lovely stay with the family in our cozy cottage nestled in the beautiful garden setting. Very private, comfortable and a perfect snug home to return to after a day at the snow. Very clean and great kitchen setup. Hope to come back and stay again soon.

Shady Brook Cottages are an idyllic spot for a mountain break. There are just 3 cottages set amongst the wooded private gardens at the foot of a hill and the river bank. The Birdlife in the garden becomes your daily entertainment, and it's a perfect base to hike Feathertop and travel up to Hotham. Excellent hosts, more than happy to help out.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We have a 6 year old and 2 year old and they had the best stay. John and Anne are lovely warm welcoming people, who made you feel at home. The cottage was cosy and clean. We will be back.
