Great place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; Hayden is an excellent instructor who manages to dissect and explain complicated moves to newbies like me. The location and the great variety of Martial Arts is an added bonus.

We have been sending our daughter her for more than 6 months and this place is really amazing. Charisma and the whole team really does an amazing job with the kids. The Adult BJJ class is also a great place for exercise, learning self defence and also have some fun in the process. Give this place a try if you are looking for an awesome martial arts academy.

This is an extremely good club, they make time for total beginners but also have alot of very experienced members I've been attending classes run by Hayden & Jesse. I would highly recommend this club.

For those parents who are looking at getting your kids enrolled in martial arts classes I would highly recommend trying out NMAA as you won't be disappointed. My girls had zero experience and were extremely nervous about joining, however once they stepped on the mat the coaches took such amazing care of them, encouraging them throughout the class.Each member can progress as their own pace and the lessons are not limited to only martial arts movements, they are motivated to build resilience, body movement and respect for their community.The kids coach, Charisma, makes each lesson super fun and relatable for all age group and even organises fun events during school holidays.

Great academy with multiple experienced and passionate instructors. Wide range of disciplines (BJJ, Judo, Striking, Yoga) and several options for training (morning, lunch, evening). Come down and check it out for yourself.

NMAA stands out immediately. It’s so clean and professionally managed. Learn to grapple with zero BS. With these coaches, you train amongst a wealth of experience. In over a year of membership I have only compliments. I’ve attended classes with every coach at NMAA and can’t recommend them enough

Hayden is hands down my favourite Jiu Jitsu Coach that I have ever trained with and I was beyond excited when I found out he was opening a gym in Ashgrove where I live. More chances to train with him and the familiar faces that I have grown to know and love through Jiu Jitsu.
