Quantum Stone

I have had the pleasure selling Quantum Stone pavers product for over 10 years now and would highly recommend their product.. I purchased my product through Noarlunga Paving & Outdoor Centre at 56 Elizabeth St @ Old Noarlunga, 83862666

The older reviews here are still valid the customer service from the lady on the front desk/phone is appalling, completely uninterested, salty and confrontational. Ended up taking my business to another place with much better customer service.

I don’t normally make reviews but I feel this could serve as a learning opportunity for Quantum Stone. I don't want to see another local business going under for fixable mistakes. Customer service is everything, especially in a little old place like Adelaide, and when competing with much larger companies. Turn your customer service around before it’s too late. Working in a smaller company with huge competition, I have customers telling me all the time that “we saw this cheaper in another store but we always come back to shop here for the service”.The customer service experience that I had today was disappointing and I’m truly hoping that this is a once off but please remind your staff that having a bad day, is no excuse for displaced anger. It seemed as though my business was an inconvenience and I received nothing but attitude. If I were the business owner, I would want to know so that I had the opportunity to improve my business. No one will put up with that if they don’t have to. I believe that supporting smaller local businesses (even if you have to spend more) is crucial for the economic health of SA but generally no one will spend more unless if you give them a reason to (i.e. good customer service, not even great, but GOOD). Staff behaviour won’t change unless if you do something to influence it.

Quantumstone made our pool coping. Sarah came out and custom scribed our pool which was not a regular shape. The result is fantastic and didn't need to cut every bullnose which doesn't look good/smooth on curved reno pools. Great job overall. thanks.

I got the impression it was an enormous imposition for the woman to handle my simple enquiry. To quote another reviewer, “my business was an inconvenience and I received nothing but attitude.” Yes, a very bad, unpleasant, deliberately confrontational attitude. I gladly went off to spend my money elsewhere; at an extremely helpful competitor without a chip on their shoulder. Give Quantum a miss.

I have had a continual problem getting any response from this company, to date they have chosen to ignore all my efforts to contact them regarding an incorrectly made pool coping with missing parts, unsuitable parts for the purpose and parts cast with an incorrect orientation. I am still holding out hope they will choose to open their lines of communication and that I can report a more successful outcome soon

I wanted the best as always so i paid a premium of 3 thousand dollars for my pavers which i was told were excellent pavers.These pavers are the opposite there is so much variation in these pavers the side of one paver is nearly 10mm thicker that the other in many cases. And when i called to complain its was just too bad thats how they are.. Now i have a seriously dodgy floor which you can actually trip on. Me and the qualified pavers i used have never seen anything so bad before even on suoer cheap pavers. Buyer beware!
