Chain Lagoons camping grounds
I love Chain Lagoons. Beautiful spot, lots of space to chil, tracks to explore and the lagoons to paddle in.Dog friendly, just off the highway but quiet. This is the place to go if you want peace and space but to stay close to amenities (Taroom is 18km).

Good free camping. Plus the good number of fishing spots in around the Lagoons. There are no toilets or drinking water, so come prepared.

Not bad for the night. Quite, shady and has 2 small shelter picnic tables. Also has bins. Nothing else. At October 2018 logoons are almost empty.

What a great place to stop for a night or more! Plenty of private room to camp fire places and a lagoon. Check out the river under the palms though it may be empty unless flood season!

It was interesting to see all the water still in the lagoons. Was a little disappointed as there had been a lot of hype about how wonderful it is. I am surenit is pretty when there has been rain.

Free basic camp near a beautiful Lagoon. Fires allowed. Can become muddy during rain periods.
